Yes it was 88F today; but it wasn't that bad as we had winds 10 to 15mph; but with the low humidity, wind and that temp; the weather service posted a red flag for fire hazard. And for tomorrow.

A little over a month ago we had freezing and snow; now we are in the fire season already! Yee gads! what next; a tsunami for the 4th of July?

Autumn is here and have had rain for a lot of today which is great because Summer was the driest on record.

It is amazing to see the green coming through where there was only dirt and it looked like nothing would ever grow.

God is wonderful Creator, all things are in His hands.
I just love it!!

We're having very little sunshine, it's either cloudy or raining. Sometimes it's chilly. In everything give thanks --- so I'm thankful that I don't have to wear my winter coat and mittens, and I'm very, very thankful that it's below 80F.

I'm thankful that we got a reprieve on the high temps of last week; it was in the high 80s; now it's going to be back in the low 60sF!

I know some would not like it; but I wished we had a cool, wet summer here in the PNW like we used to have years ago.

That would still be in the 75F to 85F range with just occasional showers. I think the kids born in the last 30 years (kids to me) would think it was sooo cold; they are used to this climate change already.

It's 73F and partly cloudy here today in Central Oklahoma. I like it - just right.

61F now on it's way to 71F with light wind and clouds; just beautiful.

I bought myself a little gadget at a hardware shop on the Norfolk Broads the other day for a bargain of £15.00. My Dad already has one and persuaded me to buy one. It took me ages to set it up correctly.

We had 18C today, sunny with cool air, tonight 4C. I love this weather and wouldn't mind it never getting hotter.
It is 4.46 pm now and I am about to go inside you can feel the temp dropping.
Ahhh the joys of a cosy woodheater......

We have the worst weather forecast that I've ever seen! The weather map shows SEVERE weather from the midwest to most of Virginia.

I'm praying for you, Tom. The horrendous weather stretches from Texas through Oklahoma, and Arkansas up to Kansas and Illinois and then it will move east until it reaches D.C. Nebraska had a tornado on Friday. Minneapolis may have severe weather, too. Entire states are on alert.

Lightning, flooding and lots of tornadoes are concerns; tornadoes have caused damage in Texas.

I loved the Broads. A group of us had long weekends on wherries there, back in the 80s - great fun!
