Having compassion for a sick person and wanting to minister healing for him is very appropriate and is totally in line with what is written in the gospels. It is part of the spirit of Christ to do so. To engage in persistent prayer and intercession for the sick person is also consistent with Scripture.
What concerns me is putting God on a timetable, that He has to heal a sick person within a specific time, and that He has to heal the sick person no matter what. This seems to me to violate the sovereignty of God to do things His way.
Also, the attitude of "if I believe hard enough it will happen" is not reflected in Scripture. It, as I have been saying all along in this thread, this is trying to use mind control to achieve the result, and this is actually Hinduism mind control techniques. I don't see the Holy Spirit using pagan mind control techniques to achieve His purposes in people. It is amazing how this has infiltrated so many areas of the church, and how that those who are caught up in it so fiercely defend it. It seems that they are blind to the demonic deception that has corrupted true faith.
True faith always puts things in God's hands to do what He pleases to do in any situation, and is accompanied by His peace that passes all understanding.
None of that matters to me, the very reason i didn't bother with your last lengthy reply to me. I only want to be sure what you are doing is doing anything at all. Would you be willing to work with us in proving if it is or is not? How bout you, Saint Steven?
