Back in 2017 we had a mosque shooting here in Canada, and done by a white guy no less. A Muslim friend of mine was so afraid that she started crying.

There is no comparison in sheer numbers of people killed by Islamist terrorism and those killed by white supremacists globally and in aggregate.

...killed 84,000 people in 2017

[sarcasm] Now we know muslims are wonderful, not those awful Christians. We must bend over backwards to placate the muslims and tell the world how wonderful they are.[/sarcasm]

It doesn't matter to the greater world just what people do to muslims

How many Americans have died due to Islamic terrorism on US soil in the past decade vs. the number of folks killed by domestic terrorists during that time period?

I think this is pretty accurate, unfortunately:

It really depends what side of the propaganda you're on. Lots of people killing each other with or without sides. Nothing has changed since the beginning of human history.

How many of the terrorists, mass shooters in the United States in the past year have been a part of Islamic terrorism?

Right wing white nationalists have been a heck of a lot more damaging to us.
Although the event has been traumatic and grievous for the Muslim community in Christchurch and the wider NZ, and especially for the families of the victims. it is a wonderful opportunity for Christians to show the love of Christ in a way that shows a level of love and grace that Islam cannot match. Many Muslims have turned to Christ because they have seen a level of love that they have never experienced before.

Islamophobia is not effective at all for showing the love of Christ to Muslim believers. Those professing Christians who have that phobia show they are not secure in their personal faith in Christ. They see Islam a threat to them.

I don't see Islam a threat to me. Moderate, ordinary Muslims are peace-loving, gentle people. There are extremists in every religion, but it is not because the religion itself is extremist. In NZ, we have Buddhist, Hindu, and Sikh believers with their temples in our cities. I can have a grace and power attitude to all these people and not judgment and condemnation toward them, because it is the goodness of God who leads people to repentance and faith in Christ.

Blaming all Muslims for the acts of isolated extremists in Africa and other places is not the way of showing the spirit of Christ toward them. Going into a Muslim neighborhood, as the street preacher in London did, and railing against the evils of Islam is not preaching the gospel and showing the spirit of Christ to them. It was right for him to be arrested for breaching the peace and preaching on the street without a licence. Genuine believers do are not contentious. That is a work of the flesh and contentious people will not inherit the kingdom of God according to Galatians 5. By going into a Muslim neighborhood and preaching against them was being contentious and therefore did his preaching in the flesh and not the Spirit.

So we need to pay attention to the fruit of the Spirit, and Islamophobia does not seem to fit into what Galatians 5 says about the fruit of the Spirit. So, if it not of the Holy Spirit, then it can only be of another unholy spirit, not of God.

Do you have a source that isn't insane conspiracy nonsense? Seriously, some of the sources cited there seem fine, but then they're mixed in with stuff like the blog "The Winds" on the American Patriot Friends Network, which is seriously a place to buy Xanax or Hydrocodone. or find out about Ron Paul, or Hilary Clinton's sex scandals, or the siege on the Branch Davidians, etc. Also the website you've linked has a section for "US NATO War Agenda". It smacks of tinfoil hattery.

Rational Wiki aptly describes the website in the following way:

Globalresearch is an "anti-Western" website that can't distinguish between serious analysis and discreditable junk — and so publishes both. It's basically the moonbat equivalent to Infowars or WND.

While some of GlobalResearch's articles discuss legitimate humanitarian concerns, its view of science, economics, and geopolitics is conspiracist — if something goes wrong, the Jews West didit! The site has long been a crank magnet: If you disagree with "Western" sources on 9/11, or HAARP, or vaccines, or H1N1, or climate change, or anything published by the "mainstream" media, then GlobalResearch is guaranteed to have a page you will love.

Conspiratorial anti-Western/anti-American nonsense does not help anything.

Maybe this will suit you better, 713 killed by Islamists in just the last 30 days: List of Islamic Terror Attacks

It would if it included the number killed by others in the same time period, so, you know, instead of desperately looking for more things to hate and be scared of I could take it in its proper context.

Just building off what Michael Collum said. There is the argument that abortion has it's roots in white supremacy, but we'll save that for a different thread.

Back to the topic.
Abortion existed long before white supremacy.

I wonder what kind of mindset hates the idea of treating white supremacy as a problem that they look for an old news article in a vapid attempt to minimize terrorism perpetrated in the name of white supremacy. Is the issue disliking the victims or sympathy for the attackers? What's in the heart of people that seek to minimize the humanity of others because the idea of white supremacy being labeled a threat bothers them?

i have a feeling that the only reason this thread appears at this time is that the poster feels that people might start to sympathize with the dead new zealanders who happened to be muslims and has posted this to dehumanize and belittle their deaths.

Sickening isn't it.

I wonder if he would have posted a comparison if some Muslim had shot up a church in Alabama.

It's just a general sickening tone of the worldwide conversation.

Out of every tragedy we will get those who instinctively need to try to spin it to gain some sort of advantage for their ideas. Some are simply more ignoble than others.
