A Sabbath of rest to YHWH

Who/what is benefiting in Lev 25:4? The land is benefiting from the rest and "to" is used.

But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest to the land (laaretz), a sabbath to YHWH (laYHWH): you shall neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.

Can you show me a verse where "for" or "for man" is used in the OT showing man is the beneficiary of the Sabbath? There may very well be one, but I can't find it. Without one your statement cannot be true.

There is nothing new under the sun, everything that exists has already existed. If the human race was somehow made extinct, their would be no more human race because YHWH has finished all of his work since the beginning. Fortunately Noah found grace to continue the human race.

Every boy must be circumcised on the 8th day after birth, as the scriptures say. Of course the Sabbath has already occurred on the seventh day after creation. So circumcision occurs after YHWH rested since the beginning.

YHWH worked for only six days, Israel did fight her enemies for only six days in 1967. YHWH finished all of his work in six days, the seventh day He rested.

The Sabbath is celebrated from Friday evening to Saturday evening. Moses mentions the evening before the morning, the sixth day had evening and morning after light was separated from darkness. What fellowship does light have with darkness? Before YWHW called the light day; darkness night the earth was in darkness void without form or shape. The light shined "there" to reveal to us the eath's form and shape. There must be light in order to have day.

Come on. YOU know the issue with those passages as should everyone else here. Positive commands always trump negative commands when in conflict. And that was exactly what our Lord appealed to for explaining to the Pharisees why He healed on the Sabbth.

The Sabbath day is only one day. A man must work while it is day, the night cometh no man can work (John 9:4). The Sabbath is celebrated Friday evening to Saturday evening. A day is 12 hours?(John 11:9) On the seventh day, there was neither evening or morning.

The works the Father and the Son do on the Sabbath are not the works the Father rested from on the Sabbath. You make it sound like the Father no longer rests on the Sabbath. So your reply does not really address the OP. The Sabbath has no beginning or end, for those who are not from this world. In a world without the sun, when does a day begin or end? (Revelation 22:5)

YHWH is not from this world and He kept rested on the Sabbath from the moment it began after the sixth day ended until the moment it ended when the first day began again.
