negative! whiskey spelled with an "e" is how you know it's made in America. it would have been a spelling error if it followed Scotch or Bourbon, or came from any nation other than the United States.

(now, one can infer it was Scotch because of the reference to bagpipes)

However... If the pipers are Irish, it could be good Irish whiskey. If Scottish pipers, good Scotch whisky. If the truck was unloading mere bourbon..ya'd be listening to banjos!

I've tried Irish stuff - not a patch on the good Scottish whisky - Glen Grant, Lagavulin , Glenfiddich etc etc
