For those on the Julian/Old Calendar - Nativity is on Monday [ 7th Jan] Lily

For those on the Gregorian/New Calendar it was 25 December

Here's an Icon of the Nativity Lily - look closely at it and the only possibly unfamiliar thing you will see are the Midwives in the bottom right hand corner - you will recognise everything else there - Angels, Shepherd, a puzzled Joseph who cannot understand how and why they have been so blessed and of course Mary and the newborn Infant Jesus in the manger

They are both December 25, just the Julian calendar is 13 days later than the Gregorian calendar.
