You are contradicting your own quote from earlier:
Apostasy, from the Greek word apostasia, means “a defiance of an established system or authority; a rebellion; an abandonment or breach of faith.”

There are two main types of apostasy: (1) a falling away from key and true doctrines of the Bible into heretical teachings that proclaim to be “the real” Christian doctrine, and (2) a complete renunciation of the Christian faith, which results in a full abandonment of Christ.

It makes zero sense to say you can fall away from something you never had. Thanks for showing how silly the man made concept of evervasant grace is.

Maybe try quoting the whole verse...
. 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day.
Like I said, if you believe God's will is always done here, and man has no free will, you will end up believing all sorts of screwed up things about how God operates.

Well... we see things differently I guess. I am an apostate, from an entirely different religion.

So the question is, did I ever "belong" to that faith, did I ever really "believe" in that faith? Did I, in truth, ever bow the knee to Baal?

I would answer no, even though I was a practitioner of that faith..

I apply this thought process to anyone who would apostasize.

Sorry for assuming you were calvinist, since this is a debate Calvinism thread. Of course it's possible you never believed, but only you can know that.

I do believe in TULIP.. very much reformation in my theological beliefs. It actually makes perfect sense to me and the more I explore faith and learn what others base their beliefs on, it only serves to entrench me more in this theology.

So no, you didn't make a mistake.

And to add to that "yes" I'd like to say you don't have to be afraid of me... I'm fairly grounded in faith.. :)
I'm not sure what that means, but ok? I've been a Christian for a whole lot of years, not much left to be afraid of.

You just seemed to pause in discussing and I didn't want the discussion to end just because I have a different background...

Okay so to make everyone comfortable I'll leave the thread.

I simply thought to make a valid point, and I'm sorry that ruined the thread..

God bless everyone and take good care.
You didn't ruin it. It just kinda ran it's course, maybe? I can always find more faults with Calvinism if you wish. :)
