CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The more I see Amazon come out with things.... the more I wonder when the switch will happen.
From everyone saying Walmart is the great evil corporation..... to Amazon.
People were/are fine with paying Amazon anywhere from 50-200 dollars to place microphones in their house...(If it isn't always listening why did they pass a law that says things that Alexa/Siri pick up CAN be admissible in court) through the echo line of products.
Now they have the echo show...... and the Fire TV cube that puts cameras in your house. They even sell it as a "baby monitor" "Alexa, show me baby room"
At what point does Amazon go too far in taking over everything before THEY are seen as the great evil.... they have done FAR more dipping into everything than Walmart ever did.

lol i just recently heard of the dark web, man, it actually composes of a huge chunk of the online world, google and such is only a small percentage. And yet the dark web contains content that is mostly illegal in nature, accessing it alone can cause your identity to be stolen if not careful, not to mention their method of transactions require the use of bitcoins( most of them). Lol, some youtubers did some vids on it buying stuff on there. I wouldn't ever access it though, i feel like it is too dangerous and the illegal activity there (including human slavery) is just so wrong. I wondrt why no one has regulated it so far.

It's not that dangerous, really, but it isn't as secure as a lot of people fool themselves in to believing. The whole principle that supposedly makes it secure is also its biggest flaw; nodes are user owned and operated so traffic through it can be monitored.
The only time I bothered checking it out was through multiple VPS'. No attacks but definitely a few odd pings, but yeah, it's the seven seas of the internet for sure so it isn't surprising.
