Hi H2S, thanks for sharing your experience.
For me I BELIEVE God's people are in all the different Churches out there. As long as you are living up to all the KNOWLEDGE of the scriptures God has revealed to you then you are a part of God's Church.
I believe the time is coming and now is that God is pouring his Spirit on his people because he loves them and wishes all his people to have a closer walk with him. God's knows that many break his 4th Commandment Sabbath (Exodus 20:8-11) out of ignorance because of what they have been taught and handed down from the Roman Catholic Church through to many Protestant Churches today
But when God reveals to his Children wherever they may be a KNOWLEDGE of his truth through his WORD then he calls us to follow him. (ACTS 17:30-31).
God's 4th Commandment is one of the 10 Commandments that give us a KNOWLEDGE of what SIN is (Romans 3:20; 7:7; James 2:11; 1 John 3:4).
James says that tf we knowingly break any of God commandments we stand guilty before God of committing sin (
James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement once we know God's WORD and turn away from it (
Hebrews 10:26-27; Acts 17:30-31)
Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (
Matthew 15:3-9)
There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.
Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?
There is only one way to find out God's truth and that to to seek him for it through his WORD. God promises to you that if you turn away from man and seek him for his truth that he will reveal it to you through his Spirit as you seek for it in His WORD. This is part of the NEW COVENANT promise to those who BELIEVE (Hebrews 8:11; John 14:26; 16:13; 7:17; 8:32-36)
Turn away from man, prayerfully ask Jesus to be your guide and teacher asking him what his truth is, seeking for it through his Word believing his promises.
May God bless you as you seek him through his WORD. Thanks for sharing H2S. So nice to meet you.
