The original or one of the remakes?

Lol.. just read Stephen King wrote "The Green Mile".. isn't that one of your favorite films?

I had no idea.. lol.. although the film was similar to a Shawshank Redemption.

Yeah, I knew that.. was only a short story of his.. probably his best work that was adapted into film.

I know it was also the same director of The Green Mile. Although never was really a fan of that film. Lol.

I have to say though that watching Carrie was a little hard considering my somewhat familiar upbringing where everything was a sin.. although my parents weren't psychos.. lol. Still.. I can relate somewhat.

I saw the 2013 one in theaters. My main problem with the film is the casting of Carrie White. They made her too beautiful and likeable to be a believable outcast. The only trait that separated her from the other students was that she was dressed like she grew up on a farm. The original one had Sissy Spacek who did an excellent job portraying her. She wasn't that attractive and was genuinely creepy.

Yeah.. even though the 1976 Carrie was good looking too.. I guess she still had a no-makeup look.. although in the film it seems like mostly the other girls are picking on her.. can't imagine too many men would make fun of her. Lol.

The Green Mile isn't my favorite film but John Coffey was definitely the most relatable character I ever saw portrayed on screen. He wanted to do good but because he was a freakishly large black man living in 1930's deep south, he had no chance of survival.

Yeah.. I just didn't really get it.. John Coffey was one of the better aspects of the film though.. and that one guy who pretends to be mentally slow. He's funny.. lol.
