Every single moment of the day with every choice I make.

Perhaps your life is directed from the moment you wake up, but I make my own choices.
You were endowed with free will, without your consent.

Do you even read what you link? First one is not an authoritative source of any kind, it's an opinion piece - opinion from non-medical and agenda driven laypeople at that. Nowhere in the medical literature is there any talk of burning out a fetus.
Must be tough with your head in the sand on this one, eh?

You could probably read a book, something a little more recent than a millennium or two ago might work. Why don't you address my question rather than ignore it? Again: what do you think should be done with all the medical and biological/infectious waste left over from medical procedures?

Perhaps it's a definition thing on the burning fetuses - tell me, are bacteria "burnt" from our bodies if we take antibacterial medication?

not even an attempt to answer my questions? not that I ever expected you to. Here's a grand example of a Christian promoting good will and honesty.

So these kids are blameless but suffer due to Adam's sin .

I'm not God's lawyer he is the judge and decided that this punishment is enought .
A judge that punishes not only the guilty, but also their entire families...

Where have I heared that before...
ow, right - North Korea.

You have a choice from the moment you become self aware about how to act. It’s people that cause suffering to other people by their own free will.
If literally everybody would go peace and love tomorrow, there'ld still be famines, natural disasters, desease, birth defects, accidents,...

Who your parents were is irrelevant

That really is completely not true on multiple levels

Many people born into poverty have risen to wealth through the choices they made.

And the other 99.9% remained in the misery that they were born into, but you don't read about those in Forbes Magazine.

Believing one has no choice because of situation, ethnics, etc is just a cop out.
Pretending that that is what was said, is a dishonest strawman.

What was said, was that choices are severely limited, due to situation, ethnicity, nationality, geographic location, genetics/physiology,...

We are tripartite: body, soul, spirit.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

What's the difference between spirit and soul? Please provide Bible passages to back up your answer.

not bad but a little old fashioned- this is the older ( pre 1990s) family tree based mostly on anatomy . The Pongidae are now part of Hominidae and the name Pongidae is retired. Humans ARE great apes and first Pongo (orangutans) split from the great apes tree ,then Gorilla ,then finally Pan (chimps) and Homo split apart

Passages that use the words are not the same thing as passages that define the difference between them. Try again.
You asked how we're different from animals, and I said we are body, soul, and spirit.

That's good enough for me.

Sorry it's not good enough for you.

Sorry it's not good enough for you.

And then I asked you to explain the difference to me, using Bible passages to support your answer. Yet, for some reason, you seemed to think that passages that merely use both words count as an explanation of the difference between them.

Now, I'm sorry that you feel that this question is too difficult for you to answer, but if you don't want to answer it, why did you even make the attempt?

Don't worry about it.

ETA: And for the record: you're welcome.

The real difference is that humans cooperate more , We make music and we dance . The other animals do none of those
Never seen a video of a bird dancing? And what of the lyre bird, which makes a creative mating call by mimicking noises it hears in various combinations? Is that not making music? Bees do dances as a form of communicating. I wouldn't say other animals don't make music and dance.

I guess that I’d call them mating displays or communication through movement (like pointing) more than singing or dancing.

Isn't most human dancing also really a mating display? :)
