The Prayer of Tobit
Tobit was an Israelite from the tribe of Naphtali. He, his wife Anna and son Tobias were taken from the town of Thisbe in Northern Galilee, into captivity by the Assyrians.

Tobit 13:1-14 Praise to the ever-living God and to His Kingdom. He both punishes and shows mercy, He brings some down to the grave below and saves others from the great destruction. Nothing can escape His power.

You Israelites, give Him thanks, for having scattered you among the nations, He has shown you His greatness there. Exalt our Lord and Father for ever.

Though for your sins He will punish you, yet He will show mercy to His people, wherever you may be dispersed around the world. When you turn to Him with all your heart and soul and act in loyal obedience to Him, then He will turn to you, He will hide His face from you no longer.
Consider now what He has done for you and with full voice give Him thanks, praise the righteous God and exalt the Eternal King.
I think Tobit is speaking to this portion of the law....
Lev26:39 And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies’ lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.
****John's baptism, all Judea went out to him confessing their sins...….
40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;
41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

In the land of my exile, I give thanks to Him, I declare His might and greatness to this sinful nation. You people who have turned away from the Lord: Turn back and do what is right and who knows, He may yet welcome you and show you mercy.

O Jerusalem, holy city, the Lord will punish you for what your people have done, but He will have mercy again on the righteous. Praise God for His goodness, for the sanctuary will be rebuilt, He will give rejoicing to His people, to the exiles now in distress and separated from their heritage.
The radiance of the Lord will shine to the ends of the earth, many peoples will come from every corner of the world, bearing gifts for the King. In Him endless generations will find joy, His chosen City will endure forever.

Accursed will be all who speak against You, all who cause destruction and fight against Your people. But forever blessed will be those who rebuild the holy Land and establish Your Kingdom.
Come then, be joyful for the righteous, for they will be gathered together and will live to praise their Redeemer. How happy will be all who love the Lord, happy in prosperity, happy to be released from the affliction of exile, rejoicing in His grace and mercy to them.

Tobit 14:7 All the Israelites who survive at that time [the end of the decreed exile] and are firm in their loyalty to the Lord will be brought together, they will come to Jerusalem to take possession of the Land of Abraham and will live there in peace and security. Those who love God in sincerity will rejoice, sinners and evildoers will disappear from the earth. Ref: REB Apocrypha
Lev 26 continued..
43 The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.
44 And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.
45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors,
whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.

Again we have the Abrahamic promises spoken of here..... God's faithfulness in mercy...

Deu 29: 1 These are the words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.
4 Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.
9 Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.
10 Ye stand this day all of you before the LORD your God; your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel,
11 Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:
12 That thou shouldest enter into covenant with the LORD thy God, and into his oath, which the LORD thy God maketh with thee this day:

13 That he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
14 Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;
15 But with him that standeth here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day:

25 Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt:
26 For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:
27 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book:
28 And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.

29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
Deut 30:1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,
2 And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
3 That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.
4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:
5 And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
7 And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.

John the Baptist prepares the way of the Lord..... Preaching God's coming wrath, the way of escape.....

Mt 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Lu 3:7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Lu 21:23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
Joh 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Ro 4:15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
Ro 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

I do not know how you read the prophets apart from these prophetic utterances in the Law...
Mt 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

Your overpromoted, over colored, and opinionated posts, are just ignored by me and I would think most others here.
What we do understand from the Word's of Jesus, is that His work is far from finished. He appeared to Paul and has to many other people who call in extremis to Him.
He said He would work for 2 'days' - 2000 years to us, Luke 31:32, and that He would always be with us. Matthew 28:20

There will be thank offerings and sacrifices for sins in the new Temple. Isaiah 56:6-7, Ezekiel 20:40-41, Zechariah 14:20-21
Who are you to say what God requires? He wanted sacrifices before and will do again.

Galatians 2:18
For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.

The continuing existence of the 10 Northern tribes is sure. The Jews knew about them; John 7:35, Josephus knew where they were, Rabbis in the Middle ages discussed the issue of when they would rejoin and Jews today know they just represent the two tribes of Judah and Benjamin. But the clincher is: God knows them all. Amos 9:9
God will fulfil His promises to the Patriarchs and their faithful descendants, actual and spiritual will live in all of the holy Land.
Those who revolt and rebel, will die in the desert, Ezekiel 20:34-38, as their forefathers did.
Mt 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
Lu 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
Remember the covenant made with Abraham...…
Ge 17:8
And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
This applies to all his children of promise YES?...….

Ga 3:29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

But the main thing we see for sure: Ezekiel's Temple will be built.

You're not the first, but could be the last. The New Covenant's spiritual edifices cannot be destroyed or compromised.

I'm stocked up on popcorn.

Some interesting moments of the book are Tobit.

The righteous Jew Tobit was forced to engage in the burial of the dead body at Pentecost. "... mine eyes being open, the sparrows muted warm dung into mine eyes, and a whiteness came in mine eyes" - Tobit became blind.

And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. (John 9:39)

1. Pentecost. 2. Righteous adherents of the law were hardened by the harsh words of the disciples of Jesus.

3. Tobit refused to accept a goatling as a gift.

4. "... I committed ten talents to Gabael the son of Gabrias ..." - 10 lost tribes of Israel

5. The fish from the Tigris River tried to swallow Tobias (the son of Tobit): the Christian religion wanted to swallow the Jews.

Ikhtis (al-Greek Ίχθύς - fish) is an ancient acronym (monogram) of the name of Jesus Christ, consisting of the initial letters of the words: Ἰησοὺς Χριστὸς Θεoὺ Υιὸς Σωτήρ (Jesus Christ the Son of God the Savior)

6. Tobias caught and ate this fish. - Instead of being absorbed by Christianity, the Jews themselves will swallow up Christians.

7. Bile from this fish will heal a righteous Jew.

he New Covenant's spiritual edifices cannot be destroyed or compromised.
They can be compromised.

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (2 Thessalonians 2:4)

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16)

In both passages one and the same Greek word is used, "naos" - "temple", "sanctuary". This is the building of the Temple, where the most holy place was located, and not the whole temple complex where the Israelis could be.

This is not about the Jewish Temple. The interior of the Jewish temples is not designed to stay there a man on the throne.

And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach. (Isaiah 4:1)

Who are the "seven women"? Who is "one man"? What reproach is said?

You're not the first, but could be the last.

And about the thoroughly false story of Sozomen, you better not remind.

From the Russian version of Wikipedia - "Star of David":
In reality; what was the star of Remphan, an Egyptian deity, morphed into the occult Seal of Solomon and the Rothschild Hexagram via the Illuminati Hexagram. I view Magen David as a satanic façade in order to obscure the true demonic history of the Star of Remphan. Even its designation as the star of David is wrong.
With no scriptural basis and all the evidence of evil and death attending this symbol prior to the 19th century, the hexagram is surely not God's choice for the symbol of Israel.

Wherever Paul used "naos" in his epistles, he was referring to the spiritual temple of the believer, collectively the Church. 2 Thessalonians 2:4 referred to someone who would attempt to usurp spiritual authority in the Church. History subsequently confirmed Paul correct.

Heb_9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Heb 10:16 "THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THEM AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR HEARTS, AND IN THEIR MINDS I WILL WRITE THEM,"
Heb 10:17 then He adds, "THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE."
(From the promise of the New Covenant in Jeremiah 31:31-34.)
Heb 10:18 Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.

About the earthquake and fire I do not believe, it's a fairy tale.

The Historian Ammianus Marcellinus (A.D. c.330 - 395)
"Res Gestae," Book XXIII

He [Julian the Apostate] planned at vast cost to restore the once splendid Temple at Jerusalem, which after many mortal combats during the siege by Vespasian and later by Titus had barely been stormed. He had entrusted the speedy performance of this work to Alypius of Antioch... But though this Alypius pushed the work on with vigor, aided by the governor of the province, terrible balls of fire kept bursting forth near the foundations of the Temple and made the place inaccessible to the workmen, some of whom were burned to death; and since in this way the element persistently repelled them, the enterprise halted. ("cum itaque rei idem fortiter instaret Alypius iuvaretque provinciae rector, metuendi globi flammarum prope fundamenta crebris adsultibus erumpentes fecere locum exustis aliquotiens operantibus inaccessum, hocque modo elemento destinatius repellente cessavit inceptum.")

Socrates Scholasticus (ca. A.D. 379-450)
"Ecclesiastical History"
Book III, Chapter XX

The emperor [Julian the Apostate] in another attempt to molest the Christians exposed his superstition. Being fond of sacrificing, he not only himself delighted in the blood of victims, but considered it an indignity offered to him, if others did not do likewise. And as he found but few persons of this stamp, he sent for the Jews and enquired of them why they abstained from sacrificing, since the law of Moses enjoined it? On their replying that it was not permitted them to do this in any other place than Jerusalem, he immediately ordered them to rebuild Solomon's temple. Meanwhile he himself proceeded on his expedition against the Persians. The Jews who had been long desirous of obtaining a favorable opportunity for rearing their temple afresh in order that they might therein offer sacrifice, applied themselves very vigorously to the work. Moreover, they conducted themselves with great insolence toward the Christians, and threatened to do them as much mischief, as they had themselves suffered from the Romans. The emperor having ordered that the expenses of this structure should be defrayed out of the public treasury, all things were soon provided, such as timber and stone, burnt brick, clay, lime, and all other materials. necessary for building. On this occasion Cyril bishop of Jerusalem, called to mind the prophecy of Daniel, which Christ also in the holy gospels has confirmed, and predicted in the presence of many persons, that the time had indeed come 'in which one stone should not be left upon another in that temple,' but that the Saviour's prophetic declaration should have its full accomplishment. Such were the bishop's words: and on the night following, a mighty earthquake tore up the stones of the old foundations of the temple and dispersed them all together with the adjacent edifices. Terror consequently possessed the Jews on account of the event; and the report of it brought many to the spot who resided at a great distance: when therefore a vast multitude was assembled, another prodigy took place. Fire came down from heaven and consumed all the builders' tools: so that the flames were seen preying upon mallets, irons to smooth and polish stones, saws, hatchets, adzes, in short all the various implements which the workmen had procured as necessary for the undertaking; and the fire continued burning among these for a whole day. The Jews indeed were in the greatest possible alarm, and unwillingly confessed Christ, calling him God: yet they did not do his will; but influenced by inveterate prepossessions they still clung to Judaism. Even a third miracle which afterwards happened failed to lead them to a belief of the truth. For the next night luminous impressions of a cross appeared imprinted on their garments, which at daybreak they in vain attempted to rub or wash out. They were therefore 'blinded' as the apostle says, and cast away the good which they had in their hands: and thus was the temple, instead of being rebuilt, at that time wholly overthrown.

Theodoret (A.D. 397-451)
"Ecclesiastical History"
Book III, Chapter XV

Julian, who had made his soul a home of destroying demons, went his corybantic way, ever raging against true religion. He accordingly now armed the Jews too against the believers in Christ. He began by enquiring of some whom he got together why, though their law imposed on them the duty of sacrifices, they offered none. On their reply that their worship was limited to one particular spot, this enemy of God immediately gave directions for the re-erection of the destroyed temple, supposing in his vanity that he could falsify the prediction of the Lord, of which, in reality, he exhibited the truth. The Jews heard his words with delight and made known his orders to their countrymen throughout the world. They came with haste from all directions, contributing alike money and enthusiasm for the work; and the emperor made all the provisions he could, less from the pride of munificence than from hostility to the truth. He despatched also as governor a fit man to carry out his impious orders. It is said that they made mattocks, shovels, and baskets of silver. When they had begun to dig and to carry out the earth a vast multitude of them went on with the work all day, but by night the earth which had been carried away shifted back from the ravine of its own accord. They destroyed moreover the remains of the former construction, with the intention of building everything up afresh; but when they had got together thousands of bushels of chalk and lime, of a sudden a violent gale blew, and storms, tempests and whirlwinds scattered everything far and wide. They still went on in their madness, nor were they brought to their senses by the divine longsuffering. Then first came a great earthquake, fit to strike terror into the hearts of men quite ignorant of God's dealings; and, when still they were not awed, fire running from the excavated foundations burnt up most of the diggers, and put the rest to flight. Moreover when a large number of men were sleeping at night in an adjacent building it suddenly fell down, roof and all, and crushed the whole of them. On that night and also on the following night the sign of the cross of salvation was seen brightly shining in the sky, and the very garments of the Jews were filled with crosses, not bright but black. When God's enemies saw these things, in terror at the heaven-sent plagues they fled, and made their way home, confessing the Godhead of Him who had been crucified by their fathers. Julian heard of these events, for they were repeated by every one.But like Pharaoh he hardened his heart.

You are so persistent. Do you think you have the right to arrange an exam for me? However, I am not your student. I told what I learned. Whether you understand this or not understood is your problem.

You seem to read and write English very well.

If Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and Hebrews 12:18-24, are not in your Bible, you may want to try borrowing another copy.

I do not believe a single word.

Socrates Scholasticus (ca. A.D. 379-450)

At that time, instead of the living church of Jesus Christ, the false façade of the Roman religion was built. In 389-392 the Church as the Body of Christ died. It was the 37th Jubilee of Israel, 3rd Thunder (391).

Of course. But if the number of Christians who put a leader in their hearts instead of Jesus Christ is very much, then the spiritual Temple, which was made up of these Christians, is compromised.
