So you're not a YEC? What's your objection to evolution then?[

No, that's the reason you think evolution can't work. I asked you what your objection to it was. What harm would it do you if evolution was true?

My objection is that it is as lie. It would do no harm if true, but creation does some good if it is true. It points to an omnipotent, loving Intelligent Designer.

What is the object of the lie?

IMO it is basically to deny the existence of God.
But the theory of evolution does not deny the existence of God, so your opinion must be mistaken.

IMO it does. It at least denies He is the Intelligent Designer and attributes life to natural events.

It also does not God the credit for origins. It is mute about God.

So do I--as a devout believer in God as creator. Intelligent Design is nothing but the propaganda of a fascist front organisation.
It is mute about God.
Einstein's theory of relativity is also mute about God. Do you think the theory of relativity denies the existence of God?

Evolution is indeed silent about gods, just as it should be. And so is organic chemistry, nuclear physics, optics, astronomy, and neurosurgery. Why should any science include conjectures with no explanatory power and no means of independent verification? That's not how it works...

Not necessarily, that's a non-sequitur. Even if there is a creator, there's nothing requiring said creator to be omnipotent, loving or intelligent. All your work is still ahead of you.

There's no denial going on whatsoever. Science literally has nothing to touch on regarding any God. Where is this denial of God, can you point out a reference in the scientific literature somewhere?

To create the universe we have, not only requires an omnipotent Creator, it requires Him to be an intelligent Designer. Science has no answer for the origin of the universe, Especially life from lifeless elements. Christianity does.

You are a classical of how our public education system has deceived it students. Evolution IS NOT science based. NOTHING in the TOE can be proved.

haven't suggested it should.

So conservative Christians are a fascist front. Amusing. For all processes to work the same all the time, requires intelligence to create them.

Irrelevant.

Nope, plenty of Christians believe in guided evolution. The theory says nothing about any involvement of deities, but it doesn't demand their absence either.

It also does not God the credit for origins. It is mute about God.
The origin of life is not covered by the theory of evolution. Your beef is with abiogenesis.

No, I said the Discovery Institute is a fascist front organization. Still, the term "fascist" has acquired unsavory implications even though it is technically correct in this instance. It would be better to call them by the name they call themselves: Dominionists.
Irrelevant.
How so? Einstein's theory of relativity is a scientific theory on the same epistemological footing as the theory of evolution. It does not mention God, so by your logic it denies the existence of God. If not, why not?

Science neither denies or affirms the existence of God.

Science is not about religion or the supernatural. God created all the processes science works woth.

Originally evolution included the origin of life. When they had no answer that didn't people smile they abandoned. Have you never heard of the primordial ooze?

Science doesn't prove, so that just shows your lack of science education. Your ignorance isn't something to be proud of. All the evidence available supports the Theory of Evolution while none of it contradicts, so until you can come up with a better explanation, the Theory of Evolution is the only scientific explanation we have.

Real ignorance of anything is denying the obvious. To say science has not proved there is more than one blood type is the poster child of ignorance. It is truly sad when some find it necessary to try to discredit real science to protect a lie.
