David, in Revelation 19 when Jesus returns -

17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

And this is the very same feast portrayed in Ezekiel 39. Only one feast in view in Rev 19. That means only one feast in view in Ezekiel 39 as well, that feast being this same feast in Rev 19. Still fail to see how you are concluding two feasts in Ezekiel 39, when there only seems to be one feast there.

The reason the feast on Gog's army in Ezekiel 39:4 is not the Armageddon feast in Revelation 19 and Ezekiel 39:17-20 - is because the Gog/Magog attack is when Israel is living in peace.

Revelation 19 is at the end of the great tribulation which Israel will be in for 1335 days after the abomination of desolation is setup to be worshiped.

Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Yes there surely is , but they did not tell people of the world that the scripture of God telling them to come feast on the bodies of kings as the marry and give in marriage as vultures don't marry , give in marriage or say wedding vows as you say scripture did :)

Yes, they will be saying peace and safety, for about 3 years 3 months, following Gog/Magog because they will be thinking they have entered the messianic era. Then sudden destruction comes.

The end of the 70th week....

26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end [of the 70th week] thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war [Armageddon] desolations are determined.

26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah [Jesus] be cut off, but not for himself:

and the people [Romans] of the prince [little horn person Daniel 8:9] that shall come [end times, north and west of Israel, the EU] shall destroy the city and the sanctuary [the Romans destroyed the temple and city 70AD];

and the end [of the 70th week] thereof shall be with a flood [suddenly like a flood, Day of the Lord], and unto the end of the war [Armageddon, kings of the earth gather to make war on Jesus] desolations [transgression of desolation, abomination of desolation] are determined.

27 And he [the little horn person has been anointed the King of Israel, becoming the Antichrist] shall confirm [a big speech from the temple mount] the [Mt. Sinai] covenant with many for one week [Deuteronomy 31:9-13] :

and in the midst [middle part, not the exact middle] of the week he [becoming the revealed man of sin] shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease [commits the transgression of desolation, 2thessalonians2:4], and for the overspreading of abominations [the transgression of desolation and the image of the person now the beast, the abomination of desolation] he [as the beast] shall make it [the forthcoming minimum size temple] desolate, even until the consummation [of the great tribulation] , and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

and the people [Romans] of the prince [little horn person Daniel 8:9] that shall come [end times] shall destroy the city and the sanctuary [the Romans destroyed the temple and city 70AD];

The little horn of Daniel 8:9 was Antiochus Epiphanes, who set up a statue in the temple and had a pig slaughtered on the altar during 167 BC.

Most Jews who celebrate Hanukkah know this fact. Why are most Christians ignorant of the history of the event?

..................................................

From "Antiquities of the Jews" by Josephus, Book 12, chapter 7

"6. When therefore the generals of Antiochus's armies had been beaten so often, Judas assembled the people together, and told them, that after these many victories which God had given them, they ought to go up to Jerusalem, and purify the temple, and offer the appointed sacrifices. But as soon as he, with the whole multitude, was come to Jerusalem, and found the temple deserted, and its gates burnt down, and plants growing in the temple of their own accord, on account of its desertion, he and those that were with him began to lament, and were quite confounded at the sight of the temple; so he chose out some of his soldiers, and gave them order to fight against those guards that were in the citadel, until he should have purified the temple. When therefore he had carefully purged it, and had brought in new vessels, the candlestick, the table [of shew-bread], and the altar [of incense], which were made of gold, he hung up the veils at the gates, and added doors to them. He also took down the altar [of burnt-offering], and built a new one of stones that he gathered together, and not of such as were hewn with iron tools. So on the five and twentieth day of the month Casleu, which the Macedonians call Apeliens, they lighted the lamps that were on the candlestick, and offered incense upon the altar [of incense], and laid the loaves upon the table [of shew-bread], and offered burnt-offerings upon the new altar [of burnt-offering]. Now it so fell out, that these things were done on the very same day on which their Divine worship had fallen off, and was reduced to a profane and common use, after three years' time; for so it was, that the temple was made desolate by Antiochus, and so continued for three years. This desolation happened to the temple in the hundred forty and fifth year, on the twenty-fifth day of the month Apeliens, and on the hundred fifty and third olympiad: but it was dedicated anew, on the same day, the twenty-fifth of the month Apeliens, on the hundred and forty-eighth year, and on the hundred and fifty-fourth olympiad. And this desolation came to pass according to the prophecy of Daniel, which was given four hundred and eight years before; for he declared that the Macedonians would dissolve that worship [for some time].

7. Now Judas celebrated the festival of the restoration of the sacrifices of the temple for eight days, and omitted no sort of pleasures thereon; but he feasted them upon very rich and splendid sacrifices; and he honored God, and delighted them by hymns and psalms. Nay, they were so very glad at the revival of their customs, when, after a long time of intermission, they unexpectedly had regained the freedom of their worship, that they made it a law for their posterity, that they should keep a festival, on account of the restoration of their temple worship, for eight days. And from that time to this we celebrate this festival, and call it Lights. I suppose the reason was, because this liberty beyond our hopes appeared to us; and that thence was the name given to that festival. Judas also rebuilt the walls round about the city, and reared towers of great height against the incursions of enemies, and set guards therein. He also fortified the city Bethsura, that it might serve as a citadel against any distresses that might come from our enemies. "

.....................................................................

Josephus confirms above the understanding of the Jews of his time, who knew that Daniel had predicted the events of 167 BC, by Antiochus Epiphanes.
Josephus confirms it as a historical fact.

John 10:22 is a reference to the celebration of Hanukkah each year by the Jews of Jesus time.

Antiochus was not a Roman.

Do you think the angel Gabriel came to reveal the timeline of the New Covenant Messiah and forgot to mention the New Covenant already promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34?

Antiochus also was not the little horn. Transgression of desolation by the little horn is time of the end - in the text.

Gabriel spoke on behalf of God. Do you think Gabriel forgot what God told him to say, and left out the words "new covenant?

Who are the 70 weeks determined on? Daniel's people, the Jews, and Jerusalem. Has Jerusalem said "blessed is he comes in the name of the Lord" ? Do the Jews believe in Jesus, yet ?

The 70 weeks are not determined on the church.

There is only one singular prince in these verses (and in fact the whole chapter), and it is Messiah.

The people of the prince were both the Jews and the Romans. The former were responsible to a great extent for actively contributing to their own destruction. The latter were God's chosen instrument of judgment.

"End" appears twice. Its meaning is clarified in the second instance as end of the war.

There is nothing expressed or implied regarding Armageddon.

There is nothing expressed or implied regarding Antichrist.

There is no one that "He" can be other than the aforementioned prince, Messiah.

He confirmed with many His covenant in His own Blood (Matthew 26:28).

His death as the one final atoning sacrifice ended all other sacrifice and oblation for all time. (Hebrews 10:12)

The consummation of His divinely determined judgment was the desolation of all upon which it fell.

Jesus the messiah both came and was cutoff at 69 weeks. He rode into Jerusalem riding a donkey (Zechariah 9:9), hailed as the messiah by his followers. 4 days later was cutoff. Leaving one week in the 70 weeks, which is end times. The prince who shall come will confirm the Mt Sinai covenant for 7 years - not the prince who was cutoff at the end of 69 weeks..

25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

He was cut off after threescore and two weeks, which places the event inside the 70th week, not at the end of the 69th.

Messiah is the only prince in the passage and chapter.

lol seriously you not THAT desperate , the text indicates that 62 weeks will be completed.
As in your job shift ends after midnight , you would not think that means 3 AM , if it were it would be stated as such ,
the Messiah dies , and then the passage speaks of a ruler to come - not Messiah but ruler that shall come in the future - the Holy Spirit inspired the writing of scripture - if the passage were to mean the same Messiah to be the ruler it would be stated as such as there is no logical rationale to call the Messiah that has already been identified as Messiah to be called anything else
Logic would simply be the writer is indicating that someone other than the Messiah shall come

Whose Bible version are you reading from? My KJV does not show the word "ruler". It only shows "prince". And Messiah is the only prince in the chapter.
