It's what is called "double-minded" and as it is written, someone who is double-minded is unstable in all their ways, and that is where the darkness and all that hide in it "party" best.

I am double minded. It's my schizo affective bi polar type, mind. It is very simple, yet complexed if you know what I mean? Not to mention my autistic Aspergers and ADHD mind. I would like to be Christian but it seems to be to complexed. A side of me is if of my father the devil the other God, if you catch my linguistycal lingo?

By Appearance I am judged by all sides and it bothers me. Other Christians, medical practitioners etc etc. It get real tiresome being a person with enough intellect to know I am not like everyone else and that I walk a persecuted life from all sides including my self.

So one has to be all in or nothing? One can not sit on two chairs in the middle, one has to pick a chair? As an analogy?

Being a Christian is yes or no. "Pick a chair," if you like.

The point of the picture I posted is that once we're Christians we still have to grow into better Christians; but if we're in the Christian chair we're saved, we're God's children, and we can't have evil spirits.

God's inexplicable grace extends graciously amidst extenuating circumstances. If you genuinely seek Him with all of your heart, He honors and hears that. (((hug)))

I feel that I've picked a chair. I feel like the modern day Apostle Paul mixed with Job. Like a hybrid or a graft. Alot of things as I read I do not fully believe or accept. So I am still ultimately always picking a chair.

For example I still fear therefore I most not be a full child of God? Because we all know God did not give us a spirit of fear. So I must be in limbo?

I know that God is light, in Him is no darkness.

Are we all not a work in progress?

Sometimes scenes of images flash through my head sometimes that are not wholesome

How does the human mind, conscience, feelings behavior ultimately work in the eyes, heart and mind of a true Christian?

No, it just means that you take the fear, uncertainty, etc. to God. HE is our Help and Comforter Who strengthens and sustains us, amen?

This verse comes to mind:

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." ~2 Timothy 1:7

My picture of the mountain again. If you're a Christian, the green bits are done (this includes being adopted as a child of God).

Sanctification (becoming more holy) is a work in progress.

The mind is put under subjection of the holy spirit.....we put it off and put on the mind of Christ. When done, it becomes a tamed donkey we can then ride into Jerusalem....

I'm sorry I follow Joyce Meyers books alot and want to know if her quote about where the mind goes the Man follows is correct?

Not a big fan of Joyce Meyers. I don't think her theology is good.

I've read that the light shines in that darkness, and that the darkness does not comprehend it. Does this mean that there is more light in a Christian then darkness or can the darkness at times dominate?

In a Christian is there always a little darkness with alot of light? Does that light fluctuate depending on certain things?

it depends on whether the believer/religious worshiper practices the faith right enough or not, regardless of what the name they are called is ("christian" or another)

Blessings

Ephesians 5:8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. 14 Therefore He says:

“Awake, you who sleep,
Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light.”

Basing from my own experience, I too had my share of these evil ones.

I would start in my own testimony, wherein one night as I was sleeping, my body felt nothing, but was wide awake with my eyes open, but my body unable to move. It was dark and I felt someone is watching me. I was sweating and in my mind, this is witchcraft (my family is superstitious. Philippines, I would say). What I did is call upon the words "Hail Mary" multiple times, but nothing happened. But when I called the name of Jesus, I was able to move, wake up and pray thanks to Him. People call it sleep paralysis, but I say otherwise. It's a clear attack, and since then, no sign of an evil one showed.

Another is what happened to my brother, whom I administered of deliverance, all of these were before I realized the prize of Christ's salvation and eternal life. He was having seizures and epileptic attacks, and such happened after almost 18 years. It was said that since he occupied a vacant apartment near his school, he became susceptible of demonic attacks, as his place was not yet blessed. Shamans claim this, while my ignorant self tell me it's the spirit of liquor from his peers. I administered deliverance on him by citing Psalms and from then on, his medication followed on, with shamanic intervention, and now he feels well.

"Can Christians have evil spirits "
Yes. It is actually rather common.
ETA:
Sorry - but I was going to link to the first message of a series our pastor just completed 2 weeks ago on being set free. He starts off explaining how this is possible. But the web site is currently down so when it gets back up I will post a link.
Here is the link I promised:

It is the first of a 9 part series.

The word Christian is used very loosely by people, you need to study the bible, and learn, if your faith doesn't express itself in love it's useless.

Matthew chapter 4 verse 4
Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
Romans chapter 1 verse 28
Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.

John chapter 8 verse 31,32
To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, " If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
2 John
9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.
Job chapter 23 verse 12
I have not departed from the commands of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread.

Matthew 11
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Luke chapter 21
33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Romans chapter 10
17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
Mark chapter 13
31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
James chapter 1
25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
James chapter 4
8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Isaiah chapter 45 verse 19
I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; I have not said to Jacob's descendants, 'Seek me in vain.' I, the LORD, speak the truth; I declare what is right.
Jeremiah chapter 9
24 but let the one who boasts boast about this:
that they have the understanding to know me,
that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness,
justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight,”
declares the Lord.
Jeremiah chapter 5 verse 1
5 “Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem,
look around and consider,
search through her squares.
If you can find but one person
who deals honestly and seeks the truth,
I will forgive this city.
Psalm 119 verse 114
You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.
