Tap water would go to the local people. Bottled water is going all over the world.
So, the net loss of fresh water, world wide, is the same, although one can argue that the distribution is unfair.

It isn't the poor african who are drinking bottled water. Water Crisis - Learn About The Global Water Crisis | Water.org
Are you saying that poor Africans, without Nestle, would be getting this water to drink for free but are now being forced to pay for it? Or that they are now dying of dehydration because there is no water for them to drink? Are you saying that these lakes / springs do just fine (are renewable) when supplying just the local population, but dry up when a big corporation like Nestle gets involved? What exactly is the CHANGE for poor Africans?

Environmentally, it is disturbing to me if any natural wonders such as lakes are drained. I believe that drinking water should only use sustainable sources. I don't personally like Nestles -- it does all sorts of stuff that I find reprehensible, beginning with getting women hooked on baby formula instead of breastfeeding.

The plants need more atmospheric CO2 not less. Current levels of 400 parts per million (ppm) are close to the lowest levels in 600 million years. This contradicts what the world was told by people using the claim that human production of CO2 was causing global warming. They don’t know the UN agency, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), established to examine human-caused global warming, were limited to only studying human causes by the definition they were given by Article 1 of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). It is impossible to identify the human cause without understanding and including natural causes. Few know that CO2 is only 4 percent of the total greenhouse gases. They assume that a CO2 increase causes a temperature increase. It doesn’t, in every record the temperature increases before CO2. The only place where a CO2 increase causes a temperature increase is in the computer models of the IPCC. This partly explains why every single temperature forecast (they call them projections) the IPCC made since 1990 was wrong. If your forecast is wrong, your science is wrong.

Gee, three of our favorite topics, all glopped together LOL :)

In France, Macron shmoozed Trump, moving him to a more agnostic stance on Climate Change. There is no telling at this point whether the US will rejoin the Paris Agreement, but it could happen. Macron did this by showing Trump the connection between Climate Change and Terrorism. Macron: My charm may have changed Trump's mind on climate change

I've read some of the abstracts of these journal articles, and I think it's worth mentioning that the "terrorism" they are talking about is unlike what we are calling terrorism today. The terrorism today is largely political-religious movements designed to take over whole countries and even the world in the name of ideology. The terrorism these scientific studies are talking about is really groups fighting for resources in a world where there is not enough food or water -- the kind of thing you see on TV science fiction shows. While that could indeed very likely become a reality, I just thought it important to point out that this is what is meant by "terrorism."

You might want to take a look at this. It's specific for California but effects the whole US.

Hi Lulav. Thank you for your post.

When the issue of global warming first came up, I was reluctant to blame it on human beings, as I ALREADY KNEW that earth's climate goes through cycles of hot and cold. The shift in the earths orbit is only one cause for natural climate change; there are also volcanic eruptions and asteroid hits. I had to be convinced that it was not a natural occurrence, and I was. The hypothesis espoused on the video you offered has been rejected by the consensus of climate scientists.

‘Houston Flood Not Sign of Climate Change’

“There have been many flood disasters in the Houston area, even dating to the mid-1800s when the population was very low.”by Trey Sanchez
There have always been hurricanes. They seem worse now because we have so many more people living near the coast. More people, more damage.

Right now it is debatable whether climate change has caused any detectable worsening of hurricanes (even though we've had some doosies, and Harvey was certainly the worst in the last 10 years). But scientists do predict that climate change will eventually effect hurricanes, especially storm surge (the sea pushing inland) and rainfall, which means that we can look forward to future flooding such as Harvey.

Oh there is a climate change coming very soon but not the type you think. Terrorism has been increasing all around the world

(CNSNews.com) - Sunni Muslim terrorists committed “about 70 percent” of the 12,533 terrorist murders in the world last year, according to a report by the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC). The information comes from the 2011 NCTC Report on Terrorism, which is based on information available as of March 12, 2012.

While I am no fan of Donald Trump; compared to Barack Hussein Obama II he is light years ahead as he moved the US Embassy to Jerusalem.
