If creationists could be presented with a complete fossil record, with the fossils spaced at 10,000 years, they would demand one evety 5,000 years.
If they had one every 5,000 years, they would say they need one every 2,000 years.
Then every 1,000 years.
Then every 500 years.
Then every 200 years.
Then every 100 years.
Then every 50 years.
Then every 20 years.
Then every 10 years.
................
................
................
Then every 10 nano seconds.

But they would still be saying there was an incomplete fossil record.
