NO. Jesus body did not return to the elements. Check scripture! Jesus body rose from the grave and walked around for 40 days. When Mary and the rest went to the tomb, their was no body. No dust. Just grave clothes laying on the floor. Doubting Thomas actually touched Jesus body (after resurrection!!) and Jesus assured Thomas, "It is me!"

Then, that raised from the dead body, The Christ Jesus, was taken up into heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father.

Maybe your Jesus is dead...My Jesus LIVES. The spirit entered that dead body and raised it to LIFE. That same spirit is promised to come indwell us if we BELIEVE HE LIVES.

You will notice that when Lazarus was resurrected from the dead he emerged from the tomb with his grave cloths on. The grave cloths of Jesus lay in the sepulture because his material body was dissolved. The Son of God never died, only his temporary mortal shell died.

I don't think anything pertaining to the life of the age to come could ever be described as "limited"; but the sorts of things you're asking questions about simply cannot be answered this side of the Parousia. Until the Lord comes, the dead are raised, and we are actually living in that future estate there simply aren't answers to these sorts of questions, and anything you or I could dream up would ultimately be wrong, or at least unbelievably weak and pale in comparison to the reality of it all.

Jesus asked those who were going to stone him for an answer of why even though (he pointed out) the scriptures had said that of them; which in their minds was the law, and could not be broken.
