My friend snapping did it for me. It’s like God never wants to see me happy…
It might seem that way but that’s not true. Believe the word not your emotions. Your heart may need a lecture regarding what's true (Jer 31:3, Jn 10:10).
I've been lonely all my life...I'm just like if you can't find it in your heart to give me a friend to keep me company ...could you yourself at least talk to me.
We must draw near to him (Re 2:4). If he says that he will stick closer than a brother, than it’s true (Pr 18:24). We’ve got all kinds of tests to pass. Demonstrate that you’re still there even when he seemingly is not (Deut 31:8, Heb 11:6). He’ll be back.
I've asked for years to hear God speak to me or feel his presence...something! And I got nothing...Nothing. I asked , I tried..and still nothing.
All that God does is good. We aren’t better than him, nicer than him, etc. If that’s the way it’s going to be then say, “Yes, Lord. You want me miserable right now? Yes Lord.” We must get over being offending by what he’s allowed for us in this life. Phil 4:11 Besides, you’re not seeing what’s happening on the other side of the scales (2 Co 4:17). Angels are watching in the stands (Heb 12:1). They’ve never sinned--never
not loved God; so, to them this is foreign. Praise him when you’re at your lowest low. They’ll watch in wonderment and it will infuriate Satan. We get a new earth. They get a new heaven (Re 21:1).
…[M]y only friend who I loved so much descended into madness, 3 years...gone just like that. ( Why let my friend descend into madness?
It’s a mad time (2 Ti 3:3 KJV, Ro 1:31 KJV).
Why couldn't he be blessed with a sound mind like a lot of people? Why? I tried to make friends with a girl at work and she hasn't texted back, so it’s like I can't have anything. Why does God just pick on some people?
Everyone has felt picked on at times (1 Co 10:13)—that doesn’t make you feel better—great he picks on others, too. He knows how to turn up the heat, no doubt; but, he will reward you for your stick-to-a-tivness.
Why is God so jealous he can't stand to see me genuinely happy. with or without him...
God’s jealously is a good thing. Coveting is wanting something that doesn’t belong to you. All men belong to God; so, his being jealous for mankind is right and appropriate. If he were not jealous for you, then that would mean that he doesn’t love you. Ex. 20:5
…I'm just like am I just here as Gods special punching bag? When he gets mad...its time to mess with me? I'm over it....
Where else are you going to go? Jn 6:68
… I never did anything to Him except try to be close and I won't try anymore...I'm not ...I'm done. I mean what's the point so I can reach out and God can be silent some more? I think I've learned my lesson.
You get your tears wiped away someday (Re 21:4). Who wipes his tears away? Is 53:3 He yearns (Jas 4:5) and his needs will go unmet because not all will go to heaven (Eze 33:11). If you really want to get him, then reject him like everyone else (Ex 23:2, Mt 7:13).
“He loves you but he will live without you.” ~ J. Vernon McGee
The LORD is righteous in all his ways,
And holy in all his works.
The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him,
To all that call upon him in truth.
He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him:
He also will hear their cry, and will save them.
The LORD preserveth all them that love him:
But all the wicked will he destroy.
My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD:
And let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. Ps 145:17–21
