  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes Thank You!!!! Luckily my mom isn't subtle with what she likes lol
My mom isn't either but I have "man" selective hearing and memory. :D

I got her a good gift though if I do say so myself. She'll like it. It's a silver rose with a silver stem and pink silver rose-head, with a tag engraved "Mom"on one side and "Love Cody" on the other. She likes stuff like that and she knows I'm poor and isn't expecting a gift so she'll be surprised.

LOL at least you know! I've never heard a guy admit to their selective hearing but I'm no better - if not worse

Awe that's so sweet!!!! She'll be so happy! All my mom wants is a cheap perfume :/

Mmm salt n vinegar and diet pepsi... *Homer drool*

My idea of hell. I have a legit phobia of vinegar.

Even typing that word sent a shiver down my spine. I know it's weird, but I just can't tolerate it in any way shape or form. Unless it is heavily disguised or used as an ingredient in chilli sauce, etc.

What is on my mind?

My place is a disaster. It looks like a tornado hit it, or that an earthquake happened. I am thinking that I probably should clean up my place.

But I hate housework. I have to wash the dishes, vacuum the floors, dust, and just pick up everything.

There is absolutely no way to make that fun.

This is a strange phobia but at the same time, I get it.
When you spend a lot of time with people who don't believe in using chemical detergents (a few of my closer friends in university), the alternative is to shower the place with vinegar. And while my brain questioned the effectiveness of their methods, I came to the conclusion that it must be a killer cleaning agent because nothing could survive that caustic smell.

That being said though, I can still eat the chips. Haha!

Well have you tried all the way google suggests? Yes, that's right wikihow already created a list of things for you to try! And if none of these suggestion work, just think about how nice your place will feel and smell once you're done. *sniff sniff* smell that Mr. Clean fresh? The best!

Distilled vinegar also does wonders for washing clothes (with soap of course)..... it doesn't leave a vinegar smell.

I happen to be one of those that uses vinegar to clean everything, not cause Im a chemical hippie... Lord knows I put plenty in my own body, why be picky now. I do it cause it works and its cheap.

Not so strange. I have a phobia of ketchup.
Ketchup hey? My dad has an extreme dislike for it and wouldn't ever touch it, but I wonder if it's a phobia already.
Are you nervous when it's just on the table or if someone else is eating it?

Ah the price thing would make sense. And does it help to get out tough stains? Or just helps to brighten things up in general?

Btw, glad you're not a chemical hippie LOL

Nice to know my family is willing to brutally crucify me over a pack of bacon, even after I apologized and replaced it with at least triple the amount.

I hate my family.

In the word's of a grade 3'er "let it roll off your back like a slimy duck". Really though, it's bacon. You apologized AND replaced it. You've done all you can, so don't think too much about it :)

You don't understand. It was like one of the Psycho Family videos by McJuggerNuggets, except without the property damage.

I like bacon...quite a lot. But that seems rather excessive. I'm sorry they lost their noodles over something so silly.

Also McJuggerNuggets... oh gosh lol
