CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The ending explicitly said that it was fake and that we had to be careful what we saw on TV. We still believed in the House Hippo anyways.
The TV executives overestimated our intelligence.

Now that I think about it, why did I believe in Santa Claus? What kind of maniac breaks into people's homes and leaves behind gifts? Why does he work only one day of the year and spends the rest of it judging us? Is he a Republican? Because it's always the rich kids that get the best gifts.
And the tooth fairy? What does she need teeth for? Is she involved in the human ivory black market inside the fairy world? Is the money bribes to us to encourage us to keep them in good quality for them to sell at an even higher price?
The Easter Bunny... A giant rabbit that breaks into our homes to hide chocolate of questionable origin to celebrate the death of my lord and savior... Isn't that a little fishy to any of you?
I bet many atheists were made by questions like these...

It was like 7/8ºC here today and has been 6-8 all week.
Whereas we were getting temperatures of 14-18... everyone broke out shorts and stuff too early here and now we're all just confused. Saw a couple winter jackets today lol

I never believed in Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy or anything like that even as a kid. I'm not sure why. I think it's because I refuse to give a mythical creature credit for my moms hard work ... this is why I'm not big on holidays... I have no problem not giving or receiving gifts. I hate taking down the Christmas tree it's so aggravating. Every day is Christmas ...

That's even worse! It's getting ridiculous.... it's May and it feels like March. In North Bay it actually snowed one year in May
The weather is around there for us as well. On Thursday it's apparently going to be 26 *fingers crossed* I've been wearing the same coat since September. Canada problems
