CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Amen, and with due diligence. Kinda' reminds me of sorta; putting God there in the forefront to "guard" our hearts, cuz if HE is at the forefront, our hearts are in good hands, and NOTHING Can get past Him.
Just give him the "key".

Proverbs 4:
God's Gracious Gift: Wisdom.
Wisdom "shepherds" us, and even the steps we take are guided by wisdom, when we embrace wisdom and understanding and knit it to our hearts and minds.
Reminds me of this verse:
"I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye." ~Psalm 32:8
and this one:
"And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left." ~Isa 30:21
It's kinda' like an "armor of protection", a "hedge" around us, isn't it?
Wisdom: the "key" to God's favor and protection and blessings.
