It's not Christian like. Sorry you've had those experiences. A lot of men are superficial as a whole... but the bible talks a lot about the true qualities to look for other than superficial ones. Talks about a woman who is meek, talks about inward beauty over outward. Proverbs 31 woman is who I personally look for, a meek woman... plus I think everyone is beautiful who exudes inner beauty anyway, like, physical often comes from the inner.

Many woman who the world finds beautiful I don't because their inner-self comes out into their physical looks in some ways.

I couldn't agree more. I strive everyday to be a Proverbs 31 woman. Not for the sake of attracting someone but to serve the Lord. It has always been a desire of mine, and not as easy as I thought it would be. And yet I've been taught so much alredy.

Both genders can be pretty superficial when it comes to outer beauty.

Which is natural, it's part of the evolutionary process. Only thing that makes me angry is when body positive movements try to have double standard with the genders.

Youthfulness is very important to me, as it statistically is for most men. I don't take it well when a woman who has a history of rejecting men for their lack of height tells men that they need to be with women their own age.. (talking 30s and up here, lol.)

I really do think (true) beauty is something that comes from personalities more than it does by physical symmetry and other things of that nature.

I've seen many women that get the attention from most guys but since I can see past the physical symmetry aspects and see their hearts/souls more clearly than others, the physical beauty part gets thrown out the window and does nothing for me other than to gain my attention momentarily.

But find me a woman whose meek, is similar to me personality wise, loves God and serves God with all her heart... would be very hard for me to see something not beautiful about her, even if her physical aspects have flaws.

After working quite heavily for an unexpected 10 hours today, i now find myself stuck at a stand-still in traffic this very moment on the way home. And somehow i'm not even really feeling annoyed. I guess i have managed to keep myself entertained and Zen calm by singing along with U2 and Tokio Hotel all this time. ^-^

Do they make a lot of money? I have no idea who they are. Many bands are quite poor.

Meanwhile, in Mojo-land- My parents wedding anniversary is on Valentine's Day, and after eight years of never even having a late payment, our landlord told us they're selling the house and we have to move.

And coffee shop girl is still trying to play games.

She sounds like a very silly little girl. Just ignore her.

Regarding education @LizzyMae i think if you want a degree then go for it am 31 now, and at uni and i have to say it has honestly changed me as a person for many reason, i don't know what it's like in the states but I don't know people can't take your education away from you, and knowledge weighs nothing. Personally University opens door and opportunity for you, and were i want to go and do, I need a degree, i did have a "good" job before uni, but i wanted something for and something that i wanted to do.

Regarding dating sites, i have been offered all sorts and been on a few dates but nothing came from it, you do get guys who message you, then disappear or the convo just runs dry. Also I went on a date, i do think i wasn't skinny enough for him, but you know what i couldn't care less, i love me, this is me, and i know am a tad overweight and am sorting that BUT if they can't see me i really don't want to be with someone like that, my ex when i was skinny super skinny still told me i was "fat" it was never "enough" so you have had a good duck there. I have came off dating sites because i know its not what god wants me to do, he actually told me to come off them, so i did, it will be god's will who i end up with, i just pray about it and know at this moment i am enjoying being single, yes sometimes I am like gosh I wish someone who here to enjoy this with, or just hold me when I have a rough day....
