Yet, you are saying that we are: "found as sinners" (Galatians 2:17) and we must be willing to admit we are always sinners (1 John 1:8), though. What is the bench mark of difference here?

...
This is the last time I respond to you concerning gal2:17 for you are showing a heart that likes to distort the truth by continually stating what you are concerning it. That is not walking in righteousness.
That verse concerns a new chritian seeking to cross over from being a slave if sin to a slave of righteousness.
I hope onlookers read this, and your continued use of it out of Context, that says much

Sigh. I was the one who quoted Matthew 5:28-30 to you multiple times within this thread to prove to you that you cannot sin and still be saved. Obviously you just did not simply read what I had written.

...
Then you are not saved are you Jason. You just condemned yourself

Seeing you are not really reading what I always write, I think it is best we agree to disagree and move on.

In any event, may God bless you.
And please be well.

...
Well you ignore much of what i write. I have responded to points in your posts but it would take too long to respond to everything. Obviously you feel the same way concerning my posts

Again, Galatians 2:17 is in context to the Law of Moses. Paul says, "But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised: " (Galatians 2:3). Circumcision is Old Testament Law and not New Testament Law. Paul also says, in verse 14, "...why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?" The Jews obeyed the Law of Moses. The Law of Moses was not given to the church or the body of believers but it was given to Israel.

No. There were MANY verses you ignored from my position within this thread. I still have no idea on the many Anti-OSAS verses I have provided to you say from your perspective. You primarily just quoted verses you preferred seeing and expected me to respond to them. On the one hand, it is good, I suppose. For it just shows the weakness of your own position on this matter.

Why do you constantly ignore the plainest of facts.
You CANNOT be an evident sinner concerning non applicable law.

You do your street cred no good here by continually stating your glaringly errant exegesis

Oh, good then maybe you can refute these Laws of righteousness for me.

God commands all men to repent (Acts 17:30).
Jesus commands us to believe in Him and to love one another
(1 John 3:23).

Yet, many of us have come to faith in God by understanding later that we were obeying these commandments within His Word as a part of our Initial Salvation in Christ (When we first came to Him).

Of course you must repent, believe on the son of God and invite him into your life as your saviour, then the law is placed within you. And as Paul states:

I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness is gained by the law, Christ died for nothing

Gal2:21

Now you say the christian is under a law of righteousness concerning coveting. What does Paul say?

In rom 7:4-6 he states the christian dies to the law so they may live for God. He then gave a personal example from his own life as to why he had to die to the law( of righteousness)
The example he gave was:
Thou shalt not covet.

Are you wilfully opposing Paul message, or do you just not understand it?

Gal2:19

How does one live for God?
By obeying His Commandments.

"Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." (Romans 6:6).

"Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him" (Romans 6:8).

"Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof" (Romans 6:12).

Please don't respond with huge swathes of faulty exegesis, just the plain text to support your belief. The christian is under a law of righteousness

I know you don't understand the new covenant Jason. I am giving you much of the plain scriptural text that states the christian is not under a law of righteousness.
All you are doing is faulty summation to try and overturn the plainly written words of the bible

No. Paul is recounting his past experience as a Pharisee in the bulk of Romans 7. He is speaking from this perspective within Romans 7:7-24. This is evident by the fact that he says he is sold under sin in Romans 7:14 and yet he says later that he is set free from sin in Romans 8:2.
