CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Maybe Putin hacked the opinion polls in PA, WI, and MI, in order to instill a false sense of security in Clinton? Maybe they weren't getting all Americans voters, but like 5% secret Russian agents posing as Clinton voters.

You're joking, right? A lot of polls were wrong because they were being run by liberals who wanted Hillary Clinton to win and wanted Donald Trump to lose, so that bias was reflected in their polls. And Trump won the states he did because he spent a lot more time campaigning there than Clinton did. Obama even said that about it.

Actually, Fox News has liberals who work there. I noticed that Fox News wasn't always supporting Trump. Sometimes they were against him. And one should consider the following:

The LA Times ran a different methodology and had Trump slightly ahead or within the margin.
However no poll that I know of except outliers had him up in PA, MI and none in WI.

One can choose to believe that not one vote was changed by the release of information given to various sources by those paid or directed by the Russian government. After all, the leaks had no effect on any voters.
One can also choose to believe that US did not land on the moon.

What Russian propaganda? Are you saying that the emails released were fabricated by the Russians? I'm beginning to think that the Russians had nothing to do with this at all. There is information that a DNC insider released the emails to Wikileaks. Regardless, it was truthful information that the public needed to know. Further, Clinton offered no denials.

OK, let's be clear. You are saying that the Russians released true information that needed to be released. Otherwise, Clinton MIGHT have been elected. So, you are suggesting that the release of the many sets of information influenced some votes. PERHAPS ENOUGH to make a difference in the result.
I would note that intelligence organizations do not KNOW whether this is the case. Maybe, the leaks had significant effects, maybe not. No one will believe any polls or analysis. We are left to judge for ourselves whether we believe that the leaks affected enough votes to have made a difference in the results.
Many tens of millions celebrate the fact that all the leaks were made. Curiously, these same people are not willing to say that the leaks had any effect.

Of course, Clinton and her team is responsible for their actions. That is NOT the question. The open question is whether Trump would have one without the ILLEGAL leaks. Some Republicans refused to quote anything in the illegal leakes (Rubio comes to mind). Others like Trump refereed to lead information in almost ever speech (and he now says that the leaks made no difference with voters).

As for the Russian hacks, do they have to affect the outcome before it becomes an issue? Is it still wrong if I try to break into your house to steal your stuff but I can't currently get past the deadbolt so am unsuccessful?
