So Friday we start setting up for the Greek Festival, then it will start Saturday up until Monday. Last year, it was funny when father was blessing the place, he was just throwing water everywhere, and people were like It made me chuckle a bit

Sometimes they do (throw water EVERYwhere, that is).

I had another image in mind I wanted to share, so I searched a few permutations of "priest throwing holy water".

I couldn't find it, but I thought this was funny, so shared it.

I should say - I don't know for sure what it is. It was posted on a Catholic blog, and was disapproved in the post. It may or may not be Catholic, and may or may not be officially connected to a Church.

But it was just meant as a joke. I don't think it's standard procedure anywhere.

What I was actually looking for was an image I've seen of an Orthodox priest with a big (I don't know what you call it) brush-like thing he dips in the water and flings water from it ... this image had a HUGE SPLASH of water hitting the people. I was going to remark on that, and priests throwing a lot of water. But it never turned up. Got very few images of priests and Holy Water at all, most were unrelated to my search terms.

Gurney went to see Star Wars Rogue One. Unlike that steaming pile of cinematic fecal matter called The Force Awakens, this was a MASTERPIECE!!!

The kids, wifey, and I LOVED IT!!!!

Nice. I've heard from everyone who's watched it that they liked it. I've heard from one person though that it's mostly story until the last few minutes. Would you say that's accurate? Also, from your statements there, you'd recommend a person go see it?

There is story and action all the way through. I highly recommend it. It was a welcome breath of fresh air after that horrendous Force Awakens travesty....
