There is no evidence for them.Ignores them, or claim they don't exist?
They claim, with good evidence, that they do not exist - in a pragmatic sense. Absence of evidence is evidence of absence, although absence of proof is not proof of evidence. If they don't claim they don't exist, why aren't they at least looking for them, instead of ignoring them?
Not really. They hunt for everything else they don't think (or know) exists.
The Loch Ness Monster? Bah, science as a whole isn't searching for it. Besides, there is a way to determine whether it is there or not - taxonomy is a science of sorts.Like Nessi, SETI, and yeti.
SETI? Well, there's a decent chance that life exists somewhere else - we're building the satellites on the off-chance that they broadcast something. And besides, there's a clear test - if we receive communication, then they exist.
The Yeti? Bah, science as a whole isn't really searching for it. Besides, we have a test of reality - we can capture it, study it.
But angels? What test would we have for them?
That's pseudoscience. It has been thoroughly disproven by the proper workings of science. Not to mention UFOs and ESP.
Only because people wouldn't stop bothering them. And the efficacy of prayer.
