CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
How can the grace of God be resisted by some yet received by others?

Reformed theology is about how one comes to salvation, not so much after one is saved.
Do you believe that God gives salvation to ALL who come to Him or that He CHOOSES ONLY SOME?
That is the question mostly.

jeff, I never accused anyone of not willing to 'come' to the Messiah. I simply asked if they willingly 'came' to Jesus to have life. I ask the same question to you. What do you say?

Ew & TBL both argue that dead people come to God.
They both have taken to being accusers. We all know who the accuser is in Scripture. Connect the dots.

They don't believe in WILLING. They believe that the called will answer the call and His call is irresistible.
There is no free will in their theology. All sin and sickness is in God's will. Sending people He does not call to hell is His will too.

For all your talking about how many years you have studied the Word of God, you sure can't use scripture to put us in our place. Can you?
We use scripture. Your words above show you to be the accuser.
Must have been God's will for you to sin like that and bare false witness against us or are you using your free will to express your lack of control to use statements to condemn us not God's Word?

It's interesting to see accusers in the church. It's like a wolf coming in to the fold.
Many passages have been shared by those who let God speak about choosing His children. There is nothing left to be said. God is good and His word is clear. I am at peace. God has redeemed me, a sinner who never willfully came to Him. No, God came to me and saved me. I am eternally grateful.

Hmmm...who was it that chose the ones who who respond to Jesus? Anybody willing to answer that question? It's right in the verse, in case you can't figure it out.
