I barely emerged victorious over a personal struggle just a little earlier tonight. Thank God He helped me come to my senses in time. I am a wearied knight after all this, when it really should not be so difficult. Or so I think. My spirit is calm again now, but I know that horrible bewitching feeling will come back soon enough to incur restlessness within the dark part of my heart once more, perhaps in as little as a few days' time, and the fight will resume. *sigh*

I don't want to riddle you with clichés, but you're a knight. That doesn't mean that you're going to win every battle. But you WILL win the war.

However every good knight knows when it's time to stop fighting a battle he can't possibly win. That's when you humble yourself down and recruit help. No mortal can get into a fight with the devil and come out of it victorious. That's why you bring in the one force that has full authority over your enemy. All you need to do is resist the urge to fight alone (leave that foolishness to people like me who don't know any better.)

You really can't lose. Faith in God is like playing a game with all of the cheat codes on.

It's funny, my sister always told me the anime I drew somehow always seemed to resemble me in some way. Either style or even the physical features. I never got the connection though, lol!

I seem to recall the Boulder police having cleared immediate family members of the crime, and don't see any evidence not to trust their judgement on that decision.

Some experts have come forward and said that the evidence was not enough to exonerate based on the profile they had. I still believe they are innocent, but some have created enough reasonable doubt that you don't really know what to think.

On a positive note, even though the official start of the autumn quarter at my school is next Monday, tonight is the first meeting of a seminar class I'm really excited about because it features prominent speakers who will discuss the election.

I heard about this on the radio this morning, and it just seems odd to me that there are no other suspects, so then who did it, you know? It's sad when there's no justice for children who have been murdered, like this.

As far I can see it they have plenty of evidence to have at least a potential suspect that isn't the family. I think they need to re-test the DNA of the original suspects since DNA techniques have improved significantly since then and could potentially produce a better profile that could be matched.

They should retest the rope for dna. I read an article claiming that it was never tested. An intricate knot may not hsve been tied with gloves and could still hold dna in the folds. Such a gruesome crime, I wish it could be solved for the family.

Got hot and tired so I came home for a few hours. Only caught one trout today and about 5 baby catfish that I did not want.
