You insist on going in circles. I'm pointing out that it is relevant to biology, the very topic under discussion. Unsubstantiated claims of having higher authority don't somehow erase this. If we are talking about biology, science is relevant. If you believe that the Bible makes certain claims about the biological world, science is relevant. If you want to dispute one of the foundational theories of biology on biblical grounds, science is relevant.

Yes, because when dealing with matters of biology, it would be wisest to look to science, not the Bible, which you already admitted is not a science textbook.
