I think my problem(if you can call it a problem) is that atheists make a lot more sense to me than any religious person I've spoken to, for example I have asked a couple of questions on this forum already and the answers received from atheists have made sense as opposed to people quoting bible passages at me.

I think my problem(if you can call it a problem) is that atheists make a lot more sense to me than any religious person I've spoken to, for example I have asked a couple of questions on this forum already and the answers received from atheists have made sense as opposed to people quoting bible passages at me.

Would you kindly please cut and paste your questions and let me have a chance as a Christian to answer them for you? That would be the kind thing to do since you obviously have not received responses that made sense.

Also, do not worry about 'religious' people. Find people who 'love' God. Those are the people who will show you what God is about.

That is very true.

We as Christians should be coming from a place of love, as Jesus instructed us saying that the second most important commandment was to 'love your neighbor as yourself'. Some people get caught in a trap where they think that judging people or explaining not that Jesus Saves, but that Jesus sends people to Hell is the way to represent Christ.

Now, it is true that those who do not have their sins forgiven by Christ will not be in heaven with Him for all eternity. But the GOOD NEWS is that salvation from sin is available to all. All who believe and have faith.

I hope that you have salvation in the blood of Jesus Christ? Do you?

God loves you as much as He loves any Christian. His arms are open to you. All you have to do is come to Him in faith that you need Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.

Sin is what separates man and God.

It is no different for you than it was for any of us. We are all sinners. You can be forgiven also.

Because you could not charge a fellow Jew interest but you could do so for a foreigner.

Because Jesus referred to gentiles as dogs, and Samaritans were second class citizens.

Because the Jews hated the Philistines so much that it is basically a derogatory term in Judeo-Christian culture.

Jesus didn't veiw non Jews as dogs he was making an analogy, second , the Bible NEVER approved of the Jews disdain for the Samaritans it merely reports it , third again the Scriptures reports the bitterness against the Philistines , it never condoned it ( talk about taking stuff out of context )
