  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes. Living under God's condemnation, every moment of life is a gift of God's grace. He owes us nothing.

Why is it then, that people who live a life of harming others, may get away with it and be able to live a long free life?

The same way I know who the author is of any collection of books and letters I read.

This is a question many biblical authors asked themselves. I think the best answer is that God is also patient and judgment day is not yet here. Many suffer in this age and will be greatly rewarded in the next. Many live lives of pleasure and leisure in this age but will be destroyed at judgment. The kingdom of God is not yet here in its fullness.

How do you know what questions the biblical authors asked themselves?

You claim they will be rewarded in the next, so they can die young before the age of five and they all deserve to die?

Wow, the energy that must be expended to convince yourself this is all peachy, must be enormous.

I only know what they put to writing. The biblical authors put this very question to writing many times.

You claim they will be rewarded in the next, so they can die young before the age of five and they all deserve to die?

This is not a coherent question.

They don't get away with it for one. Two, a long life is not necessarily a good life. Three one who commits sin is a slave to sin and is thus not free.

If you won't, you can't then make the conscious choice to believe something, you don't believe exists. You just supported Davien's position.

I consciously choose not to believe in Thor.

Why is this hard for you to grasp?

Many people who are absolute jerks and do harm to others, live long healthy lives.

If someone writes you a letter, how do you determine who wrote it?

We aren't talking about a letter I get in the mail, in the 21st century, are we?

We are talking about the NT and the gospels.

Your evasion and refusal to answer my simple question and explain is noted.
