Yeah, although, am happy that I am distant from family if the other option is to be a mommas boy (or similar) like in the show "Everybody loves Raymond". I have heard stories from women about men unable to separate from their mothers. So bad to the point where the mother was choosing the color of their house, what car they drove.... etc.

Id hate to even imagine putting my future wife in that kind of prison.... so I like it better with dysfunction if the only other option is never separating at all.

Cos now im a bit worried. I dont have anything. And none of my neighbours do either. Actually, I'd be surprised if anyone in my country had one.

I think if Sodom and Gomorrah happened again in my town, I would just run to the hills and not look back.

I do. The one at my home I built myself. I meant it when I said I was a survivalist/prepper. Although, I really don't like the word prepper. Reminds me too much of my teen years and "preppies".

I have a basement but not a fallout shelter. I wouldn't think that most Americans have a fallout shelter per say but a lot of Americans do have a basement. I am not a survivalist, though I should get some stuff together in case of a tornado or natural disaster.

Haha, I live in Canada. No one that I know has such a thing.
Then again preparation for emergencies has never been my strong point. It was only a couple years ago, that I started to wear warm enough winter clothes. I'd end up always leaving the house unprepared. I am pretty sure I would not survive this hypothetical disaster.

I guess since I only have 5 minutes I'd spend about 3 of it listening to and this song with video since I don't have a basement. I can at least have a visual of duck and cover since I never learned that in school... or actually one school I went to I might have actually learned it.. but I must not have paid much attention...
Oh, and maybe I'll make a cup of tea while I'm watching. (I have a cup now and I've heard that some kinds of herbal tea are very calming.)

Seriously, though. The wealthy are buying bunkers. They are stocking up on provisions. They are invested in tradable goods, gold, and silver. The value of the dollar is dropping. And people are losing more and more of their rights every day. The smart money is on being prepared.

I considered bringing milk down to the theoretical basement as well, for my chosen beverage.. but if I had to choose I'd probably choose orange juice (since that's what we have) or ordinary water. Seems like it wouldn't spoil as fast.
