Honestly? With five minutes to go I'd just retire to the shelter, pour myself a dram, and wait for the chaos to blow over. I can't be bothered to panic - and I'd certainly have my heart too set on that 21 year old single malt to waste time messing about with TEN things.

If my friends on here weren't forward thinking enough to build a shelter of their own, then that's their problem. I'm not going to waste precious time messaging them.

Mankind's chief end is to glorify God and enjoy him forever. Jesus is the only means of forgiveness and eternal life.

I actually only have pickled beetroot and water in my fridge, so I'd have to grab that. Yummy.

Well, I'd grab a book and hope for the best.

I wouldn't. Everyone should be busy doing what they need to do, not messaging people. Go to the shelter, wait to die/for everything to blow over, and then sort everything out.

I wouldn't record a message, my time is done, my chapter over.

My favourite dress. I don't care how impractical it is, that dress is lovely and if it's possible I'm going to die in a shelter I want to die knowing I'm wearing my best dress.

I have very few pictures, so I'd probably take no picture at all.

2) You have time to grab one food and beverage from the fridge, what is it? (something that's in there right now) Nothing. The bunker is already well stocked.
3) You have time to set your DVR to record one show: If the blast wave will hit in 5 minutes, the EMP will have already fried tv stations, cellphone towers, and pretty much anything electronic.
4) You have time to grab one book off the shelf (you already have a bible in the shelter): We have books, DVD's, CD's, games, etc already in there.
5) You have time to message one Facebook/CF friend, who is it: My friend Stephen out in Oklahoma.

First off I am a semi-survivalist and I am prepared and do not have to waist 5 minutes grabbing stuff, it is already in my Bug Out Bag.

1) You have time to make one call. Who is it to? - Call my boss, tell him I am going to be late coming into work tomorrow.

2) You have time to grab one food and beverage from the fridge, what is it? (something that's in there right now) - I already have a many days supply in my backpack but I may grab a soda and a sandwich just to enjoy. Might even eat all the chocolate pudding since nobody else is going to enjoy it.

3) You have time to set your DVR to record one show: - Hell on Wheels.

4) You have time to grab one book off the shelf (you already have a bible in the shelter): - Something with lots of pages, I just realized I do not have toilet paper in the shelter.

5) You have time to message one Facebook/CF friend, who is it: - I do not have a Facebook but if I did it would be Creflo Dollar telling him he can have whatever is in my bank account.

6) You have time to grab your favorite piece of jewelry/heirloom: - I do not have jewelry or a family heirloom but I would grab some extra bullets for my rifle.

7) In case you don't make it, you have one chance to record a message to the world. What is it? - Bombs suck and do not eat Wheaties, they make you think your a girl. (No disrespect meant to others).

Is this bomb in slow-motion or something? Its only a few miles away but it takes the blast 5 minutes to get to me. That is one messed up bomb. Not only is it going to kill me but it is going to give me lots of time to think about it.

Didn't you know? Obama and his people stated that it was ok to use drone strikes, on American citizens, on American soil. The Congress and courts disagreed with him.

The Japanese people of that era thought of the Emperor as divine. As in, he was a god. They, civilians included, willingly committed suicide for him. The military leaders in the US realized that with that level of fanaticism, an invasion of the main islands would cost more than 1 million casualties. So, they had the bomb and used it.
