So you really don't know at all why our solar system and world stand out as amazing and unique. I just can't see this as some cosmic coincidence.[serious];67026651 said:To be honest, I'm not even seeing how it's a coincidence. Some stars are single, some are multiple. Ours is one of the two options available. Not so much coincidence as just incidence.
No more than assuming that light from the stars is only seen after it starts to exist in our time area. So it isn't like you have any science on your side now is it? Heck, if we just need to grab a belief and assumption, why not grab God?But it is consistent with showing it can race the same way across the universe.
Meaningless. That is like saying...'how light can exist in our space and time seems normal, and we truly believe in our hearts that it must be similar everywhere, despite the ghastly ungodly implications'And what we see across the universe is consistent with what we see racing a particle around a lab.
Do you or any of your fellow skeptics have any evidence . . any evidence at all . . that laws of physics are any different billions of light years distant and/or billions of years in the past?
There is no 'that' evidence that was posted here yet. Fancy that.I thought not. Meanwhile, we have evidence they were the same, so that evidence trumps your lack of evidence.
You live here. How is our solar system unique?

I have a hunch. So why go with the hunches of science, since they can offer no proof at all here?
Why not have fun and be happy, and accept God's word?
"What we see takes place in our time bubble . . ."--time
We see stars. Therefore, they are in our time bubble.
It is not living in the time and space God ordained for us to live in, that determines what laws exist here. We simply deal with what we are dealt. Why does living in a solar system alter the fundamental forces of physics in that solar system?
Why, do you live somewhere beyond the earth? How would mankind and life on earth not be unique?Oh. Word games. I thought this was going to be a serious discussion. Gotcha.
So you feel that the ordinances of heaven must be identical to earth. OK. However, the bible indicates that this present world is actually far far different than what is coming, and heaven. So one cannot take a difference between this current world and that which is to come as a lack of consistency. Jesus rose from the dead, was that inconsistent with His pre risen body?I believe in God, and I believe you can trust Him to be consistent.
Let me help then. To assume the same time and space as cosmology gurus do, leads to conclusions like God never really created the stars or man, or the world as He says He did.I fail to see any ungodly implications in having an orderly, consitent universe across vast reaches of space and time.
Most of us think that witnessing things is evidence for things, and you don't, which we think is odd.
As revealed in the stars, the rocks, and the genomes, that's what I do!
I do not call the interpretations of man, that are void of wisdom and God..'handiwork' of God. To do so would be folly indeed. Why do you wish to disregard the direct handiwork of God and what it tells us?
I do know it is unique. Far as man knows, there are no lions or mankind on mars, or on Jupiter or anywhere. Even out planet is unique in this solar system (actually better called the earth system, as the sun was made for earth!)We do not know if it is or it is not, it is not unique just because you or I might want it to be unique.
