What are your favorite outfits? Favorite shoes? Do you wear jewelry much? Is makeup an every-day thing to you? How do you do your hair?



My answers: My favorite outfit is a long skirt or jeans with a t-shirt. Sometimes I wear tennis shoes and sometimes sandals with a low heel. I only wear jewelry for dress-up occasions, and not always then! I don't wear makeup every day, except that I sometimes do lipstick and mascara if I'll be around a guy I REALLY like lol. I either brush my hair, leave it down and put a bandana over it, or I put it up under a cap.

Wow, Alyssa. I LOVE the way you dress. It's so classy and ladylike.

you dress up more than me, but not that much more. I usually wear long dresses when I wear dresses (I actually do wear them a lot, but the skirt/jeans and t-shirt is comfy and practical for every day.)

Oh, and the other difference between you and I is that I wear bright colors like lime green and hot pink. I think you stick to less energetic colors.

I don't have one. I normally just wear jeans and a t-shirt. My favorite shirt is my Agalloch t-shirt. I can't post links yet so I guess you can't see it.
I wear makeup almost every day, I have red hair, I dont wear a lot of jewelry. Just an Assassin's creed necklace that my BF got me for Christmas.

I hadn't see this before.
I think my style is mostly casual. I'm most comfy in blue jeans and tee and baggy sweatshirt.
When I go to school, I'm in a uniform. When I'm homeschooling, my mom likes us to dress tidy and neat. I also love skirts and dresses in the summer. I live in my sandals or bare feet . I don't wear much makeup unless I'm going out. My hair is usually up in messy ponytail unless I'm homeschooling...my mom likes it tidy. She says she has to look at us all day and would like us to look nice. Haha

We had May Gray day where it was overcast and "cold" (72 degrees, haha) for much of the morning and afternoon, but normally Sundays are for sundresses.

This is my favorite dress because of the vibrant sea colors:


An adorable sundress my Nana bought me that makes me think it has this like 60s vibe to it is another favorite.
I also love fun skirts, yoga pants, maxi dresses, rompers, and sometimes just tees and jeans.

Favorite shoes?
My absolute favorite was a pair of TOMS I hand painted with peacock feathers, but I wore them out. I like sandals the best overall, and don't really have a preference for brand.

Do you wear jewelry much?

I wear a necklace my great-grandmother gave me nearly every day. My boyfriend has given me a few beautiful necklaces and earrings but I mainly wear them for special events. I have to wear a medical ID bracelet or anklet but they are actually pretty and look like regular jewelry. I wear my class ring and another ring from my boyfriend (not an engagement ring, haha), and sometimes some other bracelets. I like wearing costume jewelry bracelets on my upper arm rather than my wrist.

Is makeup an every-day thing to you?

No. I very rarely ever wear makeup during the week. I will get more glammed up for the weekends. My little sisters and I like following YouTube tutorials and just creating outlandish looks for fun. One of these days we're gonna go out in public with them.

How do you do your hair?

I used to have Rapunzel-esque hair all the way down my back, and would often wear it in a side braid. Now that it's just a few inches below my shoulders I wear it down more but will still braid it sometimes. I always keep a ponytail band around my wrist to yank it out of my face if it starts to get in the way, haha.

*Sniff.* This reminds me that our days of wearing uniforms are coming to an end. You might not as sentimental about it because you didn't wear it as long, but I've been in one since I was three! They just make mornings so simple. I'll miss it. It's going to be so odd on my first day of college. I'll have to actually......decide what to wear to class.

This makes me curious to know if anyone else here wore a uniform, and if so what it looked like. Since I'm in a picture-sharing mood, I'll post one. It's a side picture because the name of the school is embroidered on the shirt and I don't want it to be displayed.




As you can see, it's really simple. My skirt is a bit shorter there because I'd lost a little weight and had to roll the top in.

It's just a white polo shirt and a pleated black skirt. We did have three different styles of skirts but they were all......black and pleated, haha. We had a few different white polo shirts, too, as well as pullovers and cardigans. We could wear black pants.

I like Brandy Melville a lot. I'm really petite & can find more clothes that fit me well. Over the summer I wore rompers a lot but it's too cold for them now. I mainly wear jeans and long sleeve tees or sweaters in the winter. I love the look of maxi dresses but it's hard to find them in my size cause I'm not even 5'1. Lots of the dresses and skirts from Brandy Melville look really short on the models but that's cause they're so tall. On me they're much longer. It's a one piece outfit that are shorts and a top. They're really fun to wear when it's summer.
