You do realize that the endtimes are today, and Jesus himself places a great emphasis in them, for He is looking to end all sin and rebellion. Look around you sister. Which of the signs, that Jesus mentioned would take place before he comes, would you like to see in the headline news?
These have already taken place historically:
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; Revelation 6:12
And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. Revelation 6:13
The Great Lisbon Earthquake 1 November 1755;
The great Dark Day May 19, 1780;
The Greatest Leonid Meteor Shower, Unprecedented November 12/13 1833 ...
Other signs are already in the world...
Jesus said in regards his Second Coming, "Take ye heed, watch and pray..." Mark 13:33 and "Watch ye therefore..." Mark 13:35 and "And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch." Mark 13:37
Do you think Jesus was serious when He says it numerous times in a row? If you were to tell a child three times, would it be important?
Jesus said, "So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors." Mark 13:29
Those signs are already among you, even more rapid and intense... even as a woman about to give birth...
This is already happening:
And the gospel must first be published among all nations. Mark 13:10
Judgement for the professed believers is taking place now, beginning with those that have fallen asleep in death, and will soon pass to the living, then probation closes for all:
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Revelation 14:6
Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. Revelation 14:7
It does not say that they would all believe, but that it would be proclaimed to them...
Peter Himself warned of Present [Today] Truth, and said:
Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. 2 Peter 1:12
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 2 Peter 1:19
Consider:
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 2 Peter 3:12
What happens to those that are not discerning, careless of the words of Jesus Christ, in what he stated and what he is now even doing? They will be taken unawares, even as a thief, it will come upon them, and sudden destruction, not because they could not be saved/delivered from it, but because they chose to ignore the words and signs given them from Jesus...
As Jerusalem was a type then, again there will be destruction to come upon the whole world, because they knew not the time of their visitation, not that they could not know, but they refused to understand [Hosea 4:6]:
And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. Luke 19:44
Sister, the doors to the Ark are closing [Revelation 11:19]. Get in.
When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Luke 13:25
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. Daniel 12:1
"... for the last days." James 5:3
"... behold, the judge standeth before the door." James 5:9
