The continental breakup came after the Flood, not during it.

It is mentioned in Genesis 10.

If it happened after the flood, how does it help your flying clam theory?

Regardless of location, you can't launch a clam to the top of Everest, Ararat, or whatever mountain you are going to change it to next.

EDIT: Actually, let's just focus on how it helps your flying clam theory at all. The time it happened is irrelevant.

How many different examples do you want me to use?

Put a golf ball on the end of a garden hose, aim the garden hose upward and turn the water on and see where the golf ball goes.

This isn't rocket science ... just ballistics.

Don't forget the teleporting koalas.

I beg your pardon?

Is that a reference to something I said?

If so, do you know what an Arab phone is?
Assuming they existed then, they got to Australia the same way they came from Australia to the Ark.

Probably by teleportation.
I don't care what an Arab phone is. You said koalas teleport.

As long as it works ... right?
You said koalas teleport.
Then why did you change it to "teleporting"?

I clearly brought God into the picture by quoting from Acts 8, did I not?

Why are you filtering Him out?

Is it so you can insinuate I implied that koalas could [self-]teleport back then?

Don't forget the teleporting koalas.

I'm not sure if you considered this but animals carried in pouches could have been able to travel longer distances with less problems. Hence getting to the continent first. No teleportation required.

I dunno. You quote so many random Bible verses that have nothing to do with the subject at hand, who can keep up? Whatever verse you quoted, I'm sure teleporting koalas weren't featured.

Is it so you can insinuate I implied that koalas could [self-]teleport back then?
... right... because teleporting koalas is only ridiculous if they self teleport.

The suffix "ing" makes a case to be infinitive, as well a immediate. A koala teleported, a koala is teleporting, a koala will teleport... he is a teleporting koala.

...um, huh? Yes, koalas have pouches. How does that help them get from Turkey to Australia, on foot, with no eucalypts on the way?

Obviously not you.

For the record, and since you've got me all misrepresented (big surprise):

Q: How did koalas get from Australia to the Ark in New Jersey?
A: The same way Philip got to Azotus in Acts 8 ... God teleportED him there.

Which direction are you going with these koalas? to the Ark, or from the Ark?

God brought all the animals to the Ark, and He took them home afterward.

Strange that's not mentioned in Genesis. The number of cubits and windows is significant enough to mention, but teleporting koalas? Meh, let 'em figure it out.

Also harks back to my earlier point, if God is going to be so directly interventionist as to teleport animals about the place, why not, you know, just bypass the whole ark idea altogether?

And they teleported to New Jersey now? Sure, why not. We've got flying clams and teleporting koalas, why not New Jersey? Poor little guys. Why couldn't they get teleported some place nice?

In Australia, we have a saying that the language filter won't let me use in all it's glory, but paraphrased, "Don't ask me, you're the one upsetting this chicken, I'm just holding it for you."

Are you saying a Koala can only exist on Eucalyptus? They do have cheek pouches for storing food. They can eat other types of leaves as well. A meal in the Koala gut can last them up to 200 hours.

You are also committing the same mistake others have. Observing the Koala NOW and equating that with the Koala kind that came off the Ark. It could have easily lost a lot of abilities/genetic features since that time.

(The modern koala is the only extant member of Phascolarctidae, a family that once included several genera and species. During the Oligocene and Miocene, koalas lived in rainforests and had less specialised diets.) Wikipedia

Um, pretty much
They do have cheek pouches for storing food.
News to me. Source?
They can eat other types of leaves as well.
No they can't.

Um, no way is this true, they have to eat constantly to survive because eucalypt leaves are so energy poor.[/QUOTE]

Ah, I love this argument. "Evolution over millions of years is clearly impossible, but the koalas we have today are totally different than the ones on the ark, because they've completely changed in just a few thousand years."

Oh, and I just checked.... shockingly, pretty much everything you said about koalas is absolutely wrong https://www.savethekoala.com/about-koalas/koalas-diet-digestion

Ya ... how 'bout that?
The number of cubits and windows is significant enough to mention, but teleporting koalas? Meh, let 'em figure it out.
Funny ... I don't see koalas mentioned either?

But it's okay for you to bring koalas into the picture, isn't it? but I can't bring exegesis into it?
Also harks back to my earlier point, if God is going to be so directly interventionist as to teleport animals about the place, why not, you know, just bypass the whole ark idea altogether?
Your word choices tell me you're only here to ridicule.

"Teleport animals about the place"?

It's no wonder you don't understand.

But trying to ridicule me for your misunderstanding isn't going to work.

You might fool others here, because they wouldn't know "magic" from "miracles;" but you won't fool me.

Speciation can happen very rapidly, especially in stressed conditions and it has nothing to do with Darwinian Evolution.

My source was here: Koala - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Other trees a Koala will eat from: https://www.savethekoala.com/about-koalas/koalas-diet-digestion

(They also eat mistletoe and box leaves as well as leaves from the wattle tree, tea tree and paperbark tree.)

They do have cheek pouches.

http://blog.discoveryeducation.com/blog/2014/02/21/fun-fact-friday-koalas/

FROM YOUR OWN LINK! Koalas like a change, too, and sometimes they will eat from other trees such as wattle, tea tree or paperbark.

LOL

It'll be a hot day in Helsinki when anyone around here quotes me.

If it wasn't for an Arab phone, I really don't think anyone would even give me the time of day.
