The universe started out at zero energy, then was raised to its current level over a period of six days.

From what I understand of the standard model of cosmology, it is still at zero. How does that work?

You can't have a universe where creatio ex nihilo and the First Law of Thermodynamics co-exist.

And if the First Law of Thermodynamics does exist -- which I believe it does -- then there has to be a time when creatio ex nihilo stopped and the First Law of Thermodynamics started.

Don't stop there. Explain how that works scientifically.

The only time I can see that happening is when God finished His creation and rested on the Seventh Day.

You are asking for too much! Remember that creationists want it simple and by simple I mean like "God did it case closed". I will be very surprised if any of our resident creationists go past the first minute of the video. Personally I enjoyed every second of it.

As for "Nothing"; I have repeatedly said in the past that this is not a meaningful concept in QM. Alas this little detail seems to be missed by their insistence on creatio ex nihilo!
