No, not in a coherent manner.

I have a feeling that saying Jesus walked on water is incoherent to you.

And for the record, I don't think you're the same Davian that used to post here.

I could be wrong, but we've discussed zero net energy before.

Yes, men do not walk on water. However, history is replete with mythical tales of daring-do.

And for the record, I think it is the same Davian.

And yes, you're wrong, you didn't understand zero net energy before, and you don't understand it now.

Perhaps you should focus more on the message (or post) than the messenger.

That is something about which you are not wrong. I'd offer to fix your analogy but it would only encourage you. :)

In the video he shows how that there is no such thing as "nothing". Even a vacuum has countless virtual particles appearing and disappearing all of the time. He also shows how the total energy of the universe is zero. So the fact that there is matter does not violate any physical law. That matter could have come from nothing as long as a total energy of zero is maintained for the universe.

Evidence?

God put the natural laws in motion when he created the natural world. There was no need for them before matter and energy were created.

First of all I asked for evidence, not personal opinion.

Secondly; matter and energy are the same thing it is a false dichotomy to separate the two.

Thirdly; energy can neither be created nor destroyed.

Fourth; before the birth of the universe, space and time (space/time) did not exist and therefore there was no room for any deity to exist. The very notion of an omniscient and omnipotent deity is simply and plainly an impossibility as it contravenes every physical law.

Believe what you may. The physical world will not and cannot be affected by superstitious beliefs. Just as you may dismiss the countless of other deities so to by your reason alone should you dismiss yours.

No, it's like calling matter & energy into existence from NOTHING.

Starting with the earth.

Tell me, if I could show you something that would give you a different point of view, would you look at it and actually consider it, or would you just instantly dismiss it without regard for it?

I would instantly dismiss it without regard for it.

Then you want to stay ignorant of the real world?

And since you;ve just admitted that you don't come here for an actual discussion, why do you come in here? Are you a troll or a Poe?

Do you have a question for me worth answering?

AV, there is no such thing as a stupid question or a question not worth answering. Seek and you shall find! If you actually believe in your God then it is an insult to him when you refuse to use the intellect he gave you. According to your faith; man was endowed with wisdom, and intellect by God and your insistence of dismissing the use of both is plainly an anathema.

I do not mean to insult you AV but I have in the past seen posts by you worthy of debate. Surely you can do better than just one liners. ;)

I hope you realize that I only reject about 5% of the conclusions of science.

It only looks like I reject all science because I only mainly talk about my major forte (creationism) and minor forte (the Flood).

But for the record, I'm very agreeable with science.

I even believe in photosynthesis. :)

No, the issue is whether I have a question that you will consider to be worth answering. And since you have admitted that there's no point in having a discussion with you, as you will ignore any attempt at rational debate, what's the point?

Suit yourself.

If you change your mind, just ring.

Your signature and your post is a contradiction in terms. I am at a loss here AV. Either you believe in God or you Don't. Either you accept science or you don't. Do not confuse what religious people do (Spanish inquisition etc.) with Christianity and do not confuse what some scientists do with science.

Just like your religion has set rules so does science irrespective of any personal opinions. Just that science deals with the physical world and religion with the spiritual world and the two simply do not mix.

AV has nothing and he knows it.

He seems to think that he is making some sort of point by wasting time.

Of course about 90% of his posts are merely him counting and he seems to think that those posts "prove" something too so who knows what is really going on in his mind.

Give him a slap or two, he sorely deserves them, and then ignore him.

Actually pointing out he does his nonsense because he cannot has no answer is perhaps the best way to deal with him.

My signature?

Do you mean my user title?

I've explained that before, have I not?

All my user title (SCIENCE CAN TAKE A HIKE) is, is a metaphor for miracles.

It simply means, by way of examples:

1. During the creation week, science wasn't present.
2. When the Flood occurred, God handled the details.
3. When the Jews were boxed in at the Red Sea, God parted it.
4. Et cetera.
