Lethal injection is not a Biblical form of execution.
Should the death penalty be changed?

Research shows otherwise.Eye for eye, tooth for tooth. Justice is justice.
Bring back the electric chair to be more of a deterrent to murder. It probably hurts less than being crucified. Make all other violent crime offenders work 80 hour weeks doing hard physical labor, so reform actually works. It won't solve all problems, but it will make would be criminals think a bit harder before they commit a crime.

What would you accept? I get the feeling anything I use will be handwaved away as some liberal propaganda....and the sky is orange.
What specifically are you talking about? Let me guess. MSNBC?

Deterrence is a red herring. It really makes no difference if the death penalty deters others or not. Capital punishment is about punishment, not deterrence. That should be obvious based simply upon the name. People are executed because the crime they committed was so vile and inhuman that death becomes the appropriate penalty--hence, death penalty.Does the death penalty deter crime? - Death Penalty - ProCon.org
This website sites numerous studies that conflict whether or not it's a deterrent. Personally I don't want to kill people over something that is so inconclusive.
Second of all, I don't want to kill someone who doesn't deserve to be there. One posthumous exoneration is one too many. After all, how many innocent people do you have to kill before you're a murderer?

They found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day. ... And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones.... And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses. Numbers 15:32-56

As to the OP, I don't support lethal injection. It is my opinion that if you wish to prey upon other humans and behave like a mindless killer, you should be left to fend for yourself among other mindless killers. So I support the shark tank penalty. They need t eat too.
The same number of children I am OK with having murdered by some perverted baby raper. I'm no more in favor of mistakes on death row that cost innocent lives than mistakes on the highway that cost innocent lives or any other thing that causes the innocent to die. It's always sad, and to be avoided by any REASONABLE means, but death, even wrongful death, is an unavoidable part of reality. Let's not lose sight of the big picture by focusing solely on the extremely rare and remote possibilities. How many innocent people are you ok with feeding to sharks?

I do not often agree with atheists completely, but in this case I do.Yes. We shouldn't have one at all.
