I allow my boys to keep their room messy but it's not at all my will.
I allow them to eat peanut butter sammys but SO not my will.
I HATE them eating white bread and fat..
But if I control everything that they do, then they have no life of THEIR own.
I didn't have kids so that they'd 'obey' me.
I had children because I wanted to celebrate life WITH them.

God has angels to do His bidding
WE on the other hand are His "friends"

Hi. Been skimming through the topic about Free Will and the many responses...may have missed this but would like to pose a question in case I didn't...I've heard it said that the only persons to actually have 'free' will were Adam and Eve before the forbidden fruit. After that no man had 'free will' as each has been born with a predisposition towards the evil, so to speak. Cannot choose the good and thus would fall into the category someone mentioned earlier, "None seeketh after God", or something like that. My question: Would this describe the unregenerate man, the saved man, both or neither? Any takers???

You, might, believe "Past, far from present, near present, _______, near present, far from present, Future. How can you, possibly, make God missing in your own real time reality like He is over there and not here. Where is He? How come you, probably, don't see Him?

I believe, the same as the reforms do, we find in the Bible that God is past, ______, future. That means Past, Present, future.

Why is God missing from your, possible, version of "Present"? Why do you, might, place God where He can't be? He can be anywhere He likes without men bossing Him around like He don’t exist. Maybe you, likely, never really seen Him. I see Him all the time, every time and no time is without Him.

God predestinately controls future history by arranging circumstances. By arranging circumstances, God predestinately fulfills His decrees.

This is old news since the Cannon of Dort sorted this out for those that don't See God.
