  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What's your philosophy for Hell? Hell only?

No excuse to be laughable at someone else's expense? Huh?

Do you mean no excuse to laugh at another's expense? Or are you saying that my confusion with what you're saying makes me laughable and it is at their expense and as of such I have no excuse?

Still confused, by the way.

Just creating a complication, doesn't make attempting to understand, sensible.

Now I realize that my last post was an over simplification , but I'm sure you get the idea. There are laws and rules in every area of life. And we usually know this and we know what to expect if we decide to ignore them. Gods laws are no different.
Other than "LOVE", God has no other laws. By the wars, homeless, and billions with out medical access, food or water we have, it's clear what we get when we ignore Love...we get Hell right here on earth.

Out side of Love, all other rules are man made.

What parent would punish their child for eternity?

A child that goes to war, is a man. A man that wars with God, deserves Hell. Ergo, there are no children in Hell (because only a man that wars with God gets to deserve it). Put another way, children only ever choose to deserve Heaven. (there is more to that, but I have reservations about whether you will recognize further Wisdom).

I must hang out with a different crowd, as I've got a different impression. :)

You must know Christians then. They call Jesus more than Hell.

And I also don't make a habit of communicating with the devil. :D

If you are in Hell, it is the most tempting thing you can do. Still not interested?

I am surely not alone here in not knowing what Gottservant is talking about.

Right?

Unless you can use words I use, you are either mute or mad.

Giving up at the first complication, is no excuse to be laughable at someone else's expense.
I don't think Skavau's trying to be 'laughable'. I also am finding the 'esoteric technique' being applied a bit confusing myself. Perhaps speaking more directly rather than in riddles will more easily achieve for you the goal for which you've established this thread.

Just a thought.

Truths are truths.

If you want to compare them to riddles, think of puzzles or word games, but don't come to God with the complaint you didn't understand, what you didn't give time to consider.

If it takes me time to write it, how is it you know how to reply straight away?

A direct answer, is only as quick as the question can be (meaningfully) explained.

I used the machine to quote it. I then criticised what I quoted, which I read.

But didn't think about?

Because you thought you could be bizarrely sensible any way?

Even after I told you that typing more was either laughable, expensive or an excuse?

And now I am supposed to call "Hell" something else? Because you have given me "no philosophy on Hell"? Which is the subject? You are criticizing?

Ah, no, there is no philosophy supporting hell that doesn't, at the same time, dishonor an Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent God. Even if someone tries to sell it to me labeled as "Wisdom" with a capital "W". ;)

You must know Christians then. They call Jesus more than Hell.
Hell seems to carry more weight with the ones I've encountered than Jesus does, believe it or not. Take away the concept of hell, and everything seems to come crashing down for some reason, as though Jesus really didn't mean anything to them -- or can't mean anything to them -- without it.

If you are in Hell, it is the most tempting thing you can do.
Really? Has that been your experience? Hmmm.....
