You also need to be aware that the water chemistry during the global flood should be very different from the normal seawater today. You can not use the current rate of carbonate pptn to model what could have happened in the global flood. I would say the Ca concentration in the ocean water should be sky high during the event. The temperature should also be higher. Not only the very fast precipitation of carbonate was possible, the deposition of carbonate layers should continue for a long time after the event of flood.

I have a doctorate in Polymer Chemistry. but you take a lot of general Chemistry to get there. I know enough about aqueous solutions, which is what seawater is, to know that what you are claiming does not work.

That is why there is something called geochemistry in addition to all other chemistry. I don't believe you had geochemistry ever.

If every answer addressed a major question and there are 200 such answers. I have never seen any system which could tie the 200 answers together into one clear (no self-conflict), easy to understand theme.
