CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm sorry but this thread is meaningless. Someone can be an atheist and also not accept evolution. As far as what they might believe instead... there's probably as many answers to that question as there are non-evolutionist atheists.
Personally I don't care what this or that atheist believes about life on this planet. I only care about what is most probably true; and all the evidence shows that, as far as we know, all life on this planet diversified by sharing inherited traits passed down through flowering lines of descent.

Raelians are many things, but I don't think logical is one that commonly gets thrown at them.
They are Atheistic Creationists. The believe that a race of kindly, near immortal genetic engineers built life on Earth.
You know Raelians have one advantage over most other ID believers is that when an evolutionist asks "What's with the mistakes?" they can just shrug and say: "Well, they did their best, everyone makes mistakes."
(Still doesn't explain why the aliens built life to look like it evolved).
Raelian theology suffers from the same type of infinite regress as panspermia... Even if aliens did indeed engineer life on this planet, the aliens themselves would still necessarily have to have originated via some natural form of evolution on their home planet.

It seems that you've unmasked my obvious charade... that if there were some scientific flaw in evolution science would have posited an alternative theory. I designated atheists so as to remove religious views from the equation. It's true that there are atheists who reject evolution. But they don't believe in anything that science can or does also corroborate. This thread isn't pointless, it's purpose is to show how strong of a theory Evolution is by showing off that there's nothing in science that competes.
And it's done that superlatively!

Atheistic creation.
This would nicely explain why the moon has six different theories as to how we got it.
The creator(s) of Experiment Earth tried six different times to give us a moon; and finally got it right on the sixth try, which is the most feasible theory (whichever one it is).

I can imagine Theistic Evolutionists getting a ride back in time ... compliments of the One reigning on the throne during the Millennial Reign ... and actually seeing God speak the universe into existence; and hanging their heads in shame at all the time they wasted because they thought it went down differently.

I have thought about that for a while now. Somehow getting a chance to look into the past. Perhaps though stored memory. God remembers, but I am talking about something naturalistic like the fossils.

In the case of evolution, it leads to blasphemy ... in my opinion.
For example, God created us in His image & likeness; but evolution says we are mutant copy-errors, made in the image & likeness of God, after the DNA of [whatever].*
* I say "whatever," because if you ask 10 different Internet scientists, you'll get about 4 different answers: chimps, monkeys, apes, bonobos.
