I am in so much doubt and unbelief... I am wondering if God even exist? I am wondering if Christianity is the right faith? I used to never think like this and my mind is so doubtful of everything. I was changed my mind went from thinking all about me... to all about God, and I went through oppressions/trials and one night while I was praying it just felt like my faith was snatched from me. And I have an atheist/agnostic mindset now and I do not want this... I keep reading the Bible and doubt the whole entire time. I can't stand this I wish it was like it use to be... When I could pray with faith, and believe the Bible and believe in God and and believe in Jesus. I just feel that I may not be chosen... I don't want proof from God just faith. I want to believe so bad...

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

God tells us in His Word that we all have been given the measure of faith..
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Rom.12
Now its up to us what we do with that faith
Many place their faith in religous works, and false gods and even in themselves..
or we can place our faith in Christ which is the wise thing

God will not turn anyone away who repents of their sins with faith believing n Christ as their Saviour

He didnt say go into half the world and preach the Gospel to a select few
He said all the world and unto every creature
For God so loved the WORLD that He gave His only begotten Son that WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH in Him should not perish but have everlasting life
Friend God loves you, cares for you and gave heavens best that you ,me and this whole world might be saved and that best was His Son , the perfect sinless sacrifice for our sins...
friend God is no respector of persons ,that sacrifice was for you too..
all you need do is repent of your sins trusting n Christ and Him alone for forgiveness

we either believe HIm or we dont
if you believe that Jesus Christ the Son of God died on the cross for your sins and believe that He arose the third day then call on Him to save you
you know we cant live a Christian life without that change
we can try but we fail
we need tht old sinful nature gone and that new nature that the Lord gives us when we get saved..the Lord said we are new creatures in Christ
we need the Spirit of God, HIs power to give us the victory because we just cannot do it on our own sinful nature..we will fail

If we are trusting in just reading the Bible and praying or any thing else apart from obeying the Gospel to save us we are sadly mistaken and deceived..
Ye must be Born Again to enter into the Kingdom of God
meaning being Born of the Spirit of the Living GOD
And we are when we truly repent of our sins with Godly sorrow in faith believing that Christ died for our sins
friend was there ever a time in your life when you recognized that you were a sinner and repented of your sins trusting in Christ and Him alone for forgiveness

Paroder, since around the 17th of July, you've been posting pretty much the same thing... and that's your disillusionment with God. I have a question. Are you a Christian?
We here have been praying for you unfailingly. You know what? I think it's time that you have a one-on-one prayer session with God. We can't be God for you, and it would be folly for us to attempt to take on that role. Cast your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you. We as humans can only do so much, while an Holy God wishes to have a personal relationship with you. Mercy me! What more can you ask for than that?
It just seem to me that you're steeped in the problem and apathetic toward a solution. Jesus, by the way, IS the Solution.

I think the enemy is messin with you God Is God and because he is he is loving you even in your struggle go to him with prayer and trust the Holy Sprit who is the mind of God with us or in us and and He will reveal Himself. You can find Him in his Word. He has revealed Himself from Genisus to Revelations. I am praying for you. I have struggled too it helped me when I found a church that taught the Bible chapter by chapter verse by verse. I also listen to J. Vernon McGee he's on the web. McGee has gone to be with the 
with the Lord but he is still broadcasted he takes you on a trip he called the Bible Bus and he sounds like a cartoon character called auggie doggie (oops I just dated my self) tee hee. Keep searching He will meet you much more than half way.

Sometimes a door is opened in our lives that causes us to have problems in various ways. It might be just a seemingly "harmless" thought or action. If such has been the case with you I pray that you will see what it is and what to do about it and will be led to do it.
Whatever the problem, praying it will be remedied and that you will have more faith this time next year than you can imagine right now.

Paroder, I can relate to this. I spent a lot of time force-feeding myself the word of God, but it did me little good because it did not reach my heart.
Faith has to reach the heart if it is going to be real and do any good, and so we have a problem. The Word was given to us as an aid to feed the heart by way of the mind, but if there are blockages it's not going to be effective.
Take a look at this passage:
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
For Moses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that the person who does the commandments shall live by them.
But the righteousness based on faith says, Do not say in your heart, Who will ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down), or Who will descend into the abyss? (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).
But what does it say? The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim);
because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame. -Rom 10:4-11

The truth is already in your heart. You do not have to go through pressured gyrations to get to it. I recommend that you get quiet with God and just start talking to Him - freely, but with a view toward His glorious sovereignty and love. And start listening too, quietly.
Now the next point is that we have no righteousness of our own. Therefore, let confession of your sins, including attitudes, bubble up as the Holy Spirit brings them to light. Dont go digging, let the Holy Spirit lead, but hold nothing He reveals back. Such is His love for you that they are all forgiven.
If you look at my motto, which is from 1Cor 2.5, you will see that our faith must rest in God's power, not our own. Cease from your own works and labor to rest in Christ's completed works on your behalf. As you do this you will find rest for your soul in Him (Mt 11.27-30; Php 3.3)
