Where the blatant falsehoods of it are repeated uncritically by Christians who try and avoid their responsibility when they repeat it, yes.
Consider it streamlining the Great Commission - which you're failing.
It is not my responsibility for you to believe in the Word of God, it is just given for me to speak it.
How can I fail if I speak the Truth? It is those who reject the Truth that fail themselves, because they deem themselves unworthy of eternal life by resisting the Spirit of Truth sent forth from God.
But wether God's Word is received of men or not, all of God's saints shall receive honor and glory through God's own righteous judgments.
The Word of God is like a double edged sword, as it cuts both ways. It has the power to deliver from the bondage of sin and death when believed upon. But it also has the power to bind up, and destroy when not believed upon.
But either way it is not those who preach the gospel of Jesus Christ that have failed, but those who do not believe in Him.
Psalm 149:6-9
King James Version (KJV)
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.
