CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Saratoga. Nice two hour bus ride in the morning until my car gets down here. Lovely parish until Fr. Basil found out that I was an acolyte back home and then he says, "Oh good! Feel free to walk right into the altar next week!"
This feeling of being volun-told is becoming more and more familiar... :o
But I like doing stuff, so it works out

I have had neuralgic pain in everywhere, especially my spine, hands, forearms, head and legs (and feet when I put any weight on them, particularly the soles of my feet, unless there is memory foam underneath) for a week now. The pain alternates daily from 7/10 to 4/10, and 4/10 I can bear because I'm used to chronic pain now. The 7/10 is just misery.
Went to the physio tonight, maybe it helped maybe it didn't I don't know. Is ow. And I've missed four Church services that I wanted to go to as a result.
