Things of the devil are typically what everyone is into . Popular TV shows, music, and movies. Facebook and inappropriate contentography. To name a few. Most mainstream media has satanic undertones, and tries to keep us distracted so that we will not have ample time in our day to seek and pray to God. The things of Satan are
selfish. When your life is "
all about you " , and
your happiness,
your comfort,
your bank account, etc. You are following Satan's plan for your life.
In this day and age everyone is so " busy ". I would say they are more distracted than busy. Satan likes us to be distracted, and worried, and nervous, and depressed, and tired. He wants us to always be in a state of want. Wanting more money , or wanting more sex, or wanting more clothes, or whatever it is you want.
The things of God are patience, and peace. Love and gentleness and kindness. Praying, and reading Gods Word. Meditating on Gods Word. Encouraging others and having a servants heart. Forgiving others, and giving people the benefit of the doubt. Being thankful to God for creating us , and actually thanking Him and praising Him throughout the day.
When you are praying and staying in the Word of God daily , it is a lot harder to fall into sin and temptation. Remember what you have been saved from. Without Christ we would all be guilty. We have been bought at a price, and its a good thing to reflect on this every single day . God Bless
