All, I can say, is I believe that people should be careful what they say about the men or women of God.
But what about men like Hinn, who are not men or women of God?
It's been my experience that true men and women of God
welcome scrutiny and even correction.
I once wrote to Mike Abendroth to discuss something with him and rather than putting a curse on me, as Hinn once did (not me, personally, but on the children of anyone who criticizes him) or misapplying Psalm 105:15 to claim that it applies to him, he was very gracious and actually
thanked me for the correction.
I believe that only God can truly judge people and their hearts. That is why it needs to be left up to him.
The same God who judges the hearts of men has commanded us to judge men's doctrines, their testimony, their sanctification, and their fruit.
maybe all of his messages have not been on point
"Not on point" means that something was not clear. Hinn's preaching has been very clear (not very good, but very clear). We're not talking about something that isn't clear, but heresy that contradicts scripture and a wolf who preaches it.
but I can say that I know the Hinn family personally and I can say that Pastor Benny loves God.
First of all, he's not a pastor.
Second, if he loves God, as you say, then how do you explain the discrepancy between Christ's statement, "If you love Me, then you'll keep My commands" and Hinn's repeated failure to keep Christ's commands?
